All By Myself to (although the big money note was only live on the opening show)

 

It's more likely the high note was recorded in acapella during rehearsals so that it can be easily played over the live music like with Celine's other playbacks.

 

 

Can you explain what you mean a little better here? Not sure what you mean during rehearsals...?

 

Also, does anyone know where I can find the picture where Celine fell asleep on her plane looking so gorgeous.... cannot seem to find it anymore.

Is the Blu-ray edition of Live in Las Vegas in a digipack or case? I'm really not sure after seeing these 2 pics:

i have it. no it's not digipak. it's a specially designed blue case for all blu-ray discs. it doesn't look like a regular dvd case. i bought it more than 3 months ago and it costs 3x the price of the standard dvd version. :shrug: :doh:

I'm not sure but I saw similar photos in one issue of Paris Match last fall, and I think the photos were taken during her break last summer between the Europe and USA concerts, some time in July. But I'm not sure. :)

Blu-ray in plastic cases is more common for me than in 'digipack' form. I haven't bought this in blu-ray since I own neither an HD tv or a blu-ray player. Anyone want to offer that for a raffle? :giggle:

I didn't know it was released in any other format than digipack though, I'd like to see some pics of the plastic case version...unless its a fake?

MHWGO used to be in there too, even no. 1! if i remember well, it's so weird it's not even in the top 50 anymore!

It's obvious that Fly is on the list, that's really one of her saddest and most touching songs, but I don't quite get why The Power of Love is included..? I think it's more of a love song and I would see it more suitable for weddings and stuff, but not really for funerals.. :hmm:

Then again, My Heart Will Go On should really be in the list!

 

Ya, Funny I was talking to a priest yesterday, and he said he plays "fly" at childrens funerals alot. very suitable :innocent:

I just have to ask this (please don't get mad): I know that POL, TLYM, IACBTM, IDAN and MHWGO were all playback in AND, but did she sing more of those songs with playback during AND? I am very bad at telling whether it is live or not...

I think it could be. It was played at my grandma's funeral when I was like, 9 and it seemed fitting.

D'amandes mondées = blanched almonds

 

en bâtonnets = in sticks, or sticks

 

So, I'd say it means blanched almonds, sliced lengthways

I was wondering how I could contact Celine Dion.

The place that I work at (Rancho Los Amigos Rehab Center ) is hospital that treats low income patients. I work in the physical therapy department and every year we have a "carnival" to celebrate all of the achievements of our patients.

So my team and I thought that it would be a nice idea if we could see if we could get Celine Dion to come and meet some of our amazing patients.

 

If anyone has any suggestions that would be a great help.

Just got a text message from my lovely brother saying that this radio station is having a Celine special this saturday/sunday with contests to win the AND dvd and My love Ultimate Collection! :D

 

 

Just emailed them asking them to PLEASE play any of the hidden gems on 'Celine Dion' (the station is basically called "Calm Favourites", so nothing TJTWIM-ish :lol:)

 

 

But YAY for making people aware of MLUC!! :clap:

I think All By Myself. I don't know why.. Or actually I think it's obvious why. :P Every time she sings it I'm just amazed by the performance, so I have just always considered it as her best vocal performance.
