I dunno if this was mentioned before, but Animal Planet used All By Myself for the commercial for Meerkat (sp?)Manor II :giggle: It's pretty cool to hear her like that on tv! :D

Maybe, because in 2010 it will be 20 years of celine's english career and ofcourse unison is her first english album. I think they will add unreleased songs that we never heard of or they will add rare releases like "Tonight We Dance" etc. I think we should email sony about this idea.

Brilliant idea to re-edtion "Unison" maybe with the unison dance remix, where does my heart beat now/if there was any other way videos..etc

 

Unison is such a gem! Maybe a re-release would push the album to that double-platinum certification in the states too :msn-wink:

I hope in 2010 they release a Collectors Edition, with a DVD of the Unison VHS + all the early music videos!!

What do you guys think was Celine's best vocal performance ever (live or on an album) and why?

 

I think All By Myself. I don't know why.. Or actually I think it's obvious why. :P Every time she sings it I'm just amazed by the performance, so I have just always considered it as her best vocal performance. The first time I saw it "live" (not really live, but on video), was when she sang it in the Live in Memphis -concert and I remember being absolutely amazed about it and just thinking, how can anyone have that voice!? :wub:

 

 

I agree!! I remember david foster saying how he didn't think ANY singer could sing ABM that way!!! :w00t:

 

Thanks for replying. Agree. ABM is great. But I also think that Fade Away is very good.

They released it in 2002, maybe 6 months after the first version. On the second DVd, they put, All because of you, COulda Woulda Shoulda and the Video clip of I'm alive the international version (not the one with little stuart) and that's it.

 

I know that the US Version of this limited edition had The Greatest Reward extend version.

They released it in 2002, maybe 6 months after the first version. On the second DVd, they put, All because of you, COulda Woulda Shoulda and the Video clip of I'm alive the international version (not the one with little stuart) and that's it.

Yeah this song is beautiful. There's so much beautiful songs that wasn't "release" officially.

 

Like Eric Lapointe (who sang with Celine on Les plaines) they should release an album with all the song that she sang, for some project or from some other artist cd. That's would be cool. Probably we're able to do like a 3-4 cd, just with the song, not release on her own CD's.

i swear celine follows me into every store. i went to the mall today and heard drove all night in macys ... left + went to a few other stores and celine again! it happens so much!! ill be on the phone with my friends and its a joke now "oh celines in the background again..." HAH :laugh:

I am just curious, can someone tell me why Celine wore the cloth or sometimes a string on her right wrist during ANDHC? Was it memory of her father?

This was only during the final show of A New Day.

 

“My son gave me a seven foot tall congratulations card in which he’d written, ‘Merry X-mas. Love RC.’ He was using string to tie it into a bow and so I wore it tonight. I took him and said, ‘Rene-Charles, you are the meaning. You are the new day.’"

Hi Everyone,

I wasn't sure if this had ever been discussed, but I didn't see it anywhere. Someone has posted 23 different video segments on You Tube for the old movie that Celine was in years ago, Des Fleurs Sur La Neige. My French is VERY bad, but I think I got the gist of most of it. I wondered if anyone else had watched it. I found it very....disturbing. If you haven't seen it, you might want to check out the videos. I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks. Personally, I think it's where the phrase "dysfunctional family" must have started!!! BUT, on a positive note, I was amazed at what a great actress Celine was. She played her part very well, and I actually forgot about the fact that she was the star and got into her character instead. Sorry not to post the link, but you can just type in the title and the segments should come up.

Hi!Yes I have seen the film Celine was in. and yes she played a great character in the movie.But it is kinda disturbing at the same time.But you also know she got into character for that role.

OMD this is getting on my nerves.. i know that i have seen both of these pics before... the first one is from a press conference in beijing and the second i think is similar to autumnskies00 avatar? but i think i have pics and there are definitely more pics out there of these i just can't seem to find them now ^_^

Sorry, I haven't messaged you back on this one. I got my avator from the forum so I'm not positive, but it was outside of her hotel in NYC during the tour. There is a thread somewhere on here with a bunch of photos from that day in it.
