I am interest to know weather if celine ever flew on concorde ?The reason i have just found out today this aircraft the last concorde may be up for sale may be celine might want to buy a bit of british and french historical avation?It would be a shame to see it go to any other country where they may just store it.

I think she did. Once in 2002 when Rene told her on the phone she should go back to Montreal from Europe and screw the promotion of ANDHC cuzz RC had problems with choosing the custom design for his Mattell Ken-Barbie-Normal-Heterosexual-marriage toy. And yes, it was supposed to be hella fast. So they hired a concorde. The rest is history.

 

So considering this I bet Rene will be in first row when the auction starts in Paris. Wonder if they ever purchased an original German panzer tho, any insights on that? She recorded Acadian Wood, no? Has some connections, no, no, no?

A small correction to this...

 

 

British Airways owns still mutliple Concordes to this date... Actually the Concorde which is up for sale is the one concorde which is in a terrible shape. First of all most of the interior was removed to use as spares for the other Concordes, it was also never converted after the AirFrance crash and was not airworthy anymore since that date... Since several years all the electronics seems to be destroyed by British Airways.

 

Only this single Concorde (G-BOAB) is up for sale... The rest remains property of British Airways.

Last Flight: 15 August 2000

As far as I know, there is probably only 1 or 2 Concordes capable of flying again. Both Ex- AirFrance:

 

 

1) F-BTSD

 

This is stored at the Air & Space Museum in Le Bourget and every month the electronics and hydraulics are being runned to see they remain in working order.

 

2) F-BVFC

 

This is stored at the Airbus facilities in Toulouse and is maintained by Airbus

 

 

 

 

I hope Airbus will provide someday an airworthiness certificate for one of the remaining Concordes to make heritage flights... Maybe someday, sometime

as I'm working on a big dossier about celine (just for my personal use!!!), I'm trying to document as many days of Celine's life as possible I'm looking for a lot of specific photos. of course I checked the gallery in this forum. but does anyone of you have a hint, where I can find good celine-foto-galleries?

So I was wondering is there anything in particular that made Celine tear up/cry in this song??? I don't know the lyrics and can't seem to find them so I'm lost ! I also don't know who Pascal is!

I think this song was called d'etre mère, which means; to be a mom, and you know how emotional céline was back then (and even now, but thank god a bit less ) when RC is mentioned and being a mom... so she was touched by the lyrics. Pascal is a famous (in france?) songwriter/singer

Yeah I wanna know how the whole baby thing is going too But we don't even know if she's tried to get pregnant yet. All we know is that when she found out she was pregnant with RC, she made an announcement right away. So I'm guessing if she is, she'll tell us. She's said in the past that she doesn't want to tabloids to steal her joy by telling everyone her news, she wants to tell everyone herself

Well her plane has been stationary in CT for 9 days now. Close to NY so it is quite possible. But she probably won't announce till later as there can be complications that can then make the process not work. I don't think she would want to say she is, and then have to say that it didn't work out.

There's a Bombardier Aircraft Services unit for business aircraft at Bradley Intl in Hartford. It's possible that just the plane was taken there. Probably for maintenance.

Hey, can any of you tell me which performance this clip is from?

 

It's The Power Of Love. But I don't know what it is from...it's bugging me..

 

1:20-1:32......and also a link to a full performance (or download?).

 

 

PS: :51-1:05 is the Sonia Benezra 1993 performance which I finally figured out, but I haven't had any luck finding a full performance for it. Can anyone help me with that please? Based on the ending note for it, ITS AMAZING.
