Well... please say which city is... I'm wondering this...

 

If it's any Latin American or Spanish city I won't be surprised... in fact it wouldn't hurt me... and I'm not gonna tell it to anyone it could hurt his/her feelings... -_-

 

I thought that cos' Edwin said "I guess I could look at past cities and which ones she didn't visit since the FIY tour"...

Could u please tell me how to download an HD video from Youtube?

 

I use www.keepvid.com but what I got is just a 'high quality' video :confused: (I click on

"get_video.mp4 - High Quality")), NOT an HD video like in this picture. :doh:

Thomas was just joking because he knows I'm from Omaha ;) And besides she came to Omaha on her TCWT, and Celine hasn't visited whatever city she was talking about since.

lol well okay then I have no idea. Also I still can't find that one picture from berlin I'm looking for. I found the topic with others similar to it but not that one photo. I also checked the other TC topics from germany and didn't see it. I'm sorry if I'm just over looking it but I really don't see it.... o.O

eddie, who says that céline didn't really visit that city again after the FIY tour! Maybe it was a very big city and she has to perform there again, just like she has to perform TPOL and MHWGO :P

If a city solds out it doesn't matter if she felt the audience wasn't as good as she expected, just because a city wasn't part of the TC tour (while it was during the FIY tour) it doesn't mean it was THAt city Celine doesn't like...

We'll never know people! Celine is a lady....so move on!

After a little research , she was 18 years old at the time of that video. The video was made in 1997 for the VH1 Honors special. Tricia Lee was going to school at the L.A. County School of the Arts when asked to perform with Celine. Now she plays for the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.

It's only been the last couple of years that I really started to get into Celine's French music. D'Elles really helped because it's such an amazing album. On Ne Change Pas helped as well. I don't understand French, but I'm continually amazed at how different her French albums are from the English ones. It's like she approaches them in a completely different way.

 

S'il Suffisait d'Aimer just never really clicked for me though. The album did nothing for me, and neither did the song. I've listened to it a few times and I just couldn't get into it the way I could with D'Elles or 1 Fille & 4 Types.

 

Suddenly, this past weekend I was finally able to really appreciate and get into the album. I don't know why I couldn't before, but now I think it's just beautiful. I can't get enough!

I understand what you mean :) It's good when that happens!

I find it took longer for me to really appreciate her French music too. (Probably since I didn't understand the lyrics at first, and to me that's the most important part of a song!)

Hi All,

 

I have been somehow amazed to see how the video of Taylor Swift "Love song" was looking alike " Immortality", the same light, almost the same black dress, the charming prince, the white castle; the story located on the 18th century....

 

"Immortality" was never issued in the U.S. but still I think that Taylor has been inspired by Celine.

 

Well, she has announced her as one of her idol's on last December during the Grammy p renomination show!! So maybe she meant it really!!!

I don't know if it is inspired by Immortality. That type of video seems pretty popular. Marie Antoinette and other movies like so probably served as more of an inspiration. But maybe Immortality was part of it? :wub: Edited by imgoingtobiteyoure_face

it's Love Story, NOT Love Song. :)

 

i highly doubt it was inspired by Celine's Immortality. the song is about "love story" of Taylor long before she became a star, and compared her story to "Romeo and Juliet". that's just it. the video fits the song well.

Maybe the city is Halifax (sorry for my spelling) Canada??? You know, the city that didnt want Celine's tour there this past year because she apparently wasn't cool enough or some crap....

In the past I've had that with her ealier albums like Incoginito and Des Mots Qui Sonnent/ Dion Chante Plamandon... I really loved D'eux and all the first english albums, but I never bothered listening to them, even though I had them for like 2 years... but then one day I really started listening to DMQS and damn :wow: that album swepped me of my feet! Same with Incognito! it's a great gem! :wub2:

I'd put D'elles at 4 or 5. I gave f&t a higher ranking bec. of the warm, laid-back approach that's refreshingly unorthodox for a Celion album.

 

Back to D'elles, anyone knows the 7 tracks that were recorded in 2 days?
