I just noticed that maybe you were thinking "Université Laval" was in Laval. It's called "Laval" University but it's in Québec City(nothing to do with city of Laval where she has a home). Sorry I'm a little slow today! :giggle:

Yes actually that was what I was thinking ;) I know it's a bit far between Montréal and Québec City so I never thought that the University could have been in Québec City, but good to know that there is a difference :)

Ok, so either I am losing my mind or the dude on one of our radio stations is colour blind. He just said that he saw Celine at Loftus in 2008 and that everyone thought that the show was over and started shouting and then she came back with this huge blue dress to sing ''My Heart Will Go On''. Blue dress? I was at the show on the 16th of February. Anyone knows if she wore a blue dress on the 17th, because she had the yellow dress on the night I was there... Edited by Claudette

It wouldn't be too surprising considering they had quite a few different outfits in the beginning of the tour including many which were only used once or twice.

ive seen a youtube video...i think its from the quebec version of the legas dvd at the end and they were in the car and renes phone rang and they started laughing and he was letting it ring and she got annoyed and told him to answer it...i looked for the video on you tube but i cant find it.

 

i also remember when she was on the jay leno show in 1997 or 98 and she was talking about the dress she wore to the oscars and she was telling leno about the "fight" they had about it. i cant find that one either...im either really bad at finding videos or it isnt up anymore.

She was just embarrassed because of the ringtone. I think it was a Godfather ringtone

 

But they argued when she was recordingi "All by myself" but that was a fake argument from René, he was trying to make her upset

 

She has said that they do argue and that she can be mad for a long time but René forgets more easily

Hmm, are you sure you aren't confusing her San Remo performance of Calling You from 1996 (where she also did FIY) with OOR? :/

 

I would think since we got footage of You And I that we may have gotten TTWII and LCMM.

oh yeah and in a few interviews, like the e! hollywood story and a few others that they have no trouble perferssionally but like all couples they do fight, but always work it out. i remember reading on another topic that in that book that lady wrote (the lady who traveled with them on the tour) there was something in there about celine yelling at rene...she wasnt mad AT him but she was taking it out on him i guess...does anyone know when they book will come out in english??

You can definitely see the resemblance to RC from his younger pictures!!!! :clap:

Here is the 2009 version of "The Freddy" :giggle: that René did for fun as director of Star Académie (and the good sport he is) with pals actor and comedian Patrick Huard (to the right) and singer song writer Michel Rivard (in the middle.) Everyone thought René was still very much in shape :) and apparently René-Charles was laughing a lot at home watching that with Céline. In this vid, you can also see his daughter Anne-Marie, Marc Dupré in the audience. That night was a big hit; that's when the teachers and director of the Académie did their thing to amuse the students and tv viewers :

Every teachers did their thing, René's part is from 0:00 to 1:30 with the matching suits with legs that are too short included- Enjoy!!!! :D :
