What "upsets" me most about the books, I think it's "for keeps" is that Céline wont do what René tells her, like play the piano or release any of her songs since she doesn't think she is good enough. I don't think René would ask her to do it if she wasn't good enough. Céline! listen to your manager I want to hear your stuff

I write in a journal every now and then. I came across an entry where in April 1999, I wrote about Celine being in Memphis and how much I missed seeing her show at the Pyramid. I worked in the Pyramid at the time and I remember my boss saying how he got a chance to meet her and how nice she was. I was so close, but so stupid to not have gotten tickets. I was at that concert in memphis! It was my very first Céline concert!!!! At the Pyramid! Do you live in memphis now??? I always hate driving by the Pyramid and just seeing it idle like that unused, after it was the source of such a magical night for me and Céline I was about 15-16 and remember that night had made me the happiest girl in the world, to be in the same room as Céline . As we left I watched through the back window as the Pyramid got smaller and smaller in the distance, wanting to cling to every second of it! haha

so I walk in the mall and my friend and I are chatting about Celine's new house and the pool and junk she's building and all the sudden I realize "I'm your lady" is playing, I smack my friend on the arm and gasp and am like "holy cow! listen! how ironic is it we were just talking about Celine and she's playing right when we walk in the mall!"

Um the best thing that could ever spontaneously happen JUST happened!

 

So I'm having spa night ya know, just me and the dog. Did my nails, deep condition the hair... Got my leopard print Snuggie on, reading, relaxing. I get up and head towards my bedroom door and I don't know what awesomeness possessed me but I was feeling it and out of NOWHERE I burst through the hallway door and run dowwwwwn the hallway in slow motion gathering up my Snuggie as I go singing "BABYYYYYY BABYYYYYYY"...STRAIGHT out of the "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" video. OMG. it was amazing.

 

I just had to share that with you.
