Thank you guys for your info on the copyright laws! It is so very appreciated cause I am the epitome of stressed out. I have some more research to do, it seems, but it makes a lot more sense to me now! Do you think Big Mama will sue me if she opens a wedding invitation playing "A New Day?" hahaha.....no but really.

like I said, I don't think you'll get in trouble. But I think unless you have a way to do it yourself, you're going to have a hard time hiring someone to make them

I think what's going to have to happen is I'll have to get the actual cards printed and then make a false back to slide the sound chip in with the recording or something myself and adhere it altogether...I haven't exactly figured out how I would need to design the card yet to be able to trigger the sound chip when it's opened, I need some more research for that.

 

I am going to be such a renaissance woman after all of this. I am going to be an expert at dyeing roses to look exactly like Celine roses and making cards that play music and convincing Canadian restaurants to ship me Celine cakes.

 

My fiance told me tonight "You know, you do this to yourself. You make impossible standards that no one can achieve and then it stresses you out." I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons he loves me though!

 

I think I need to make a "Lindsey's super awesome Celine wedding" thread.

She won't sue you. Rene is the one who takes care of those things, and really they've only sued the National Enquirer for that "pregnant with twins" story...I dont think your case compares at all with that so don't worry

thanks! ill look into the rosetta stone thing...i really want to be able to understand...its hard when non of your friends like celine...so i have no one to practice with or anything like that. i wish i knew more people in the dallas area that love her as much as i do. oh well, at least there is the orum! thanks for all the help!

 

I hear you, none of my friends or family have an interest in learning French, and that does make it real hard to practice. I do have to say though, I started speaking to my dad's dog in French. The funny thing is he responds much better to my French than he does with English. I've turned him French

Why did Terry Bradford leave Celine's "entourage" as a backup singer? Have any of Celine's former backup singers ever become successful as solo artist? I've heard that when not performing with Celine, her current singers have things that they do but are any of them well-known outside of their performances with Celine? well actually there are three different versions of the dvd - the english one, french one and a quebecois one, which has different bonus material! try amazon or ebay!

i was just listening to what more can i give and come together now and i realize that when all the artists sing the same lyrics, Celine gets to sing the high notes in the background! i guess they know that no one can do high notes like Celine does it! In fact I think they stayed at Chateau Frontenac two nights. Laval is near Montréal but not that close from Québec City and they had not been to Québec City for about 9 years. She received the doctorate, she had to do a radio interview with JP Ferland, a press conference, had to do rehearsal(very late at night)...plus she wanted to go to Benjo toy store with René-Charles and friends...They also went very late at night with her team, friends and family to see Robert Lepage's "Moulin à images" which was shown one night (very very late again) especially for them I think. Apparently she tried to do some activities(when possible) with René and RC, family and friends, in between her busy schedule.
