I found this article about Gerards book on the website PurePeople a french site, could someone translate the article? I mean some of the words its clear what the english word is I know it talks about intimate backstage photo's and rare photo's but what else? Probably stuff we already know but I'm just curious anyway. The title of the book is Celine around the world correct? Wow I used an online conversion site and calculated the euro price into US dollars and it equals around 58 to 59 US dollars! Wow I hope the price is a lot less , like I hope its around thrity maybe forty dollars, when it comes out in the US or there's no way I'm gonna be able to get my dad to get the book for my birthday. He'll say its just a waste of money on a book and I just want it because its Celine Dion or as he calls her 'Cecile Dion'.

So today in class, someone was talking with the teacher about who a better vocalist between Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Although obvious, my teacher claimed it would be "impossible" to state the better one unless each sang the other's song and even then you still couldn't tell because you would have biases in there. So I said, how about Celine Dion and Britney Spears for example. He then said, "they don't sing the same kinds of songs so it is not a fair comparison" and it got even worse from there, "if Britney wanted to hit those notes, she could...it's just that her kind of music doesn't require that, but she is more then capable" then someone else said "anyone can hit the notes that Celine, Mariah, or Whitney hits...it just takes practice and alot of training" so I then said that they didn't get where they did because they "tried harder" but because they had a natural born ability.

 

I got very mad. Idiots.

I have more of this set of photo's I just don't know if they are on my friends computer or my storage drive at college. I'll look tomorrow when I get on campus. If I remember to look for them and they are there I will post them. If I forget I can check my friend computer next time I'm over there. I may have them saved on both but I can't load my storage drive from my home computer my internet is to slow. I tried to find them on myspace again but either the person who had them posted has been deleted or set their photo's to private because you can only search public photo's. but the actual DVD has two unreleased songs, the I'm Alive'' music video and some footage of the making of ''A New Day''. What the heck is that all about?
