Tyler1991 Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:46 AM Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:46 AM I don't think it's on an album. It was only performed one time that I know of, but I don't know for sure.
the_hero_ricky Posted September 12, 2009 at 04:52 AM Posted September 12, 2009 at 04:52 AM (edited) Have any one got the ATW A Decade of Songs & Video DVDDid u find that the Dobly Channel mix have improve the sound from the original ATH CDsay for example, at the end of the song I Want You to Need Me, there is a glitch sound on CD , but when i listened to the DVD Dobly channel, it's gone, wow I m so glad that i don't hear that annoying sound. Only the Dobly channel makes improvements!! I think the stereo is duppeed from the original CD master Btw, Taking Chances From Taking Chances have some kind of glitch and weird sound too, but Taking Chances from the My Love Ulitmate Collection, no problems!!!!!!!!!! the_hero_ricky Posted September 13, 2009 at 05:36 AM Posted September 13, 2009 at 05:36 AM Anyone knows why the song Right In Front Of You in ANDHC has some "bi" sound during the music? It's so strange to hear that.

Gicedi Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:10 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:10 PM Oh heard it! I never notice that.... It doesn't sound weird to me. It's just part of the orchestration... And now you made me to listen only that louder and like bell ringing!!!!! lololol! https://youtu.be/D2KKDewXvJE
Gicedi Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM By the way, i had to listen this song for long time! Thanks for remind me! https://youtu.be/D2KKDewXvJE

Gicedi Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:18 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:18 PM It sounds like a metalic instrument! It suppost that it just fill the orchestra, not to get the attention of the ear. When you listen that song you have that in your mind so it "sound louder"... https://youtu.be/D2KKDewXvJE
nati Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:33 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 03:33 PM it's a nice song if you find listening to it annoying than don't listen to it. Thanks Celine for the great memories. I will never forget you
angelil78 Posted September 13, 2009 at 05:53 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 05:53 PM I´m trying to add most of my Céline Cd's to my ipod. Now it´s her earlier cd's, I´m now copying Dion Chante Plamondon, my copy is called Des Mots qui sonnent. That album has a special meaning to me since 2003 when I met Plamondon at the Céline Dion shop in Las Vegas and told him that his album was on sale there, and he was so surprised that he bought a few cd him self because he didn't have either the american or european version, can´t remember. it was kinda funny

angelil78 Posted September 13, 2009 at 06:29 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 06:29 PM I´ve got the Incognito cd on it now as well, and I am copying Unison now. I wish I had a larger ipod. Mine is only 4 gb and I want to have more than only Céline on my Ipod. Just remembered that my Incognito cd has an autograph from Céline´s former bodyguard, Eric

I would have more Celine but before I didn't have enough room for all my cd's, I need another itunes card so I can buy more Celine from itunes and I need to dig the rest of my cd's out and put the rest of the Celine ones on my ipod. My friend can't believe how much Celine I have on my ipod but its not like Celine's the only person I have on there lol. I just have more of her total than any other singer. The rest of them I've only got one or two songs from, no way near the almost 200 I have of Celine “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
Tyler1991 Posted September 14, 2009 at 09:10 PM Posted September 14, 2009 at 09:10 PM Maybe they left the little voice crack in there to create a more "live" feeling. IDK, but I don't think that it was recorded from the 2/16 show. I think it would be too difficult to make it sound acapella and all. She probably wanted to sing it live for the benefit concert, but IDK. I don't think we need to analyze it that much, but I guess anything is possible. I think it is possible to record only her voice. I mean isn't that how they do it in the studio? Even though she sings to the track, they only record her voice and then afterwards they do the mixing... QueenCeline: What makes you think that Celine won't be able to sing that note better than the 90's. I mean even if it was recorded in a studio before the tour, she still had to hit it in the studio. And in my opinion it is better than some performances of the 90's. Actually, there are lots of songs she sings better today than in the 90's. But hey that's just me... Just thought of something else: Maybe it was their plan all along for her to hit the note the first show and then use the recording of it throughout the tour, but Celine was not happy with it, so she tried it the second night again. First, it is easy to take out audience voice and clapping and keep a note. Think of I Surrender endnote in Las Vegas. You can see people clapping yet, no noise aside from her voice. It is not autotuned, I am almost positive. Autotune makes a destinct sound everytime I'v heard it, even if the same note was kept. Another reason I dont think its autotuned is because "Any" from Anymore is two different notes "aa" "nyy" and the change in tone would make the autotune go crazy.I think what Tyler explained is probably the closest thing to what happened/what was going on. About mixing, IDK whats all involved in that. I have just found out, that not only is it possible for a LIVE recording to be used for lipping purposes, but Celine has done it before. Remember the TJTWIM special that was in January of 2008? Watch TPOL from that special - notice that the first verse are the vocals extracted from the AND DVD, and the sqeek at the end of the long ending note is also from the DVD. Additionally, on the Vegas DVD during RDMH, Celine talks into the microphone on two separate occasions - both from the DVD are included in this live performance, and match perfectly. I also believe this was the case with BYLM on the "An Audience With..." special in the UK. I think it is very interesting that they opted to extract DVD audio and lip to it, rather then the tracks they already had (which are identical to the DVD audios, minus the live talking/sqeeking). Remember, this is just a month before the tour. Is it possible they did this because they planned to do something similar to this (take live audio, and use it for playback) on the actual tour?

I think this was mentioned before. If I remember correctly the whole medley was taken from the DVD for ''An audience with...''. Just a question: How do you guys know that the tracks of TPOL, IDAN, IACBTMN, TLYM and MHWGO that they use on tour were recorded in a studio? Tyler1991 Posted September 14, 2009 at 10:15 PM Posted September 14, 2009 at 10:15 PM That's the thing....we don't know.. Hypothetically, let's say ABM is recorded the way it is in my theory (we know it is possible now). For all we know, TLYM/MHWGO/IACBTMN/TPOL could have been recorded this way too. For none of these have we seen live footage of the first time the playback was seen. So it is possible. Although, I do believe for these songs this is way unlikely, and definitely not the case. The TLYM playback is just spectacular and I couldn't ever believe that was live. The "whatever it takes, we'll fiiiiiiind a waaaaayyyyy" blows my mind away everytime. Although on the other hand, the I Surrender playback recording is the most convincing playback she has. I could actually believe this being the case when I listen to the playback for this song. It is not overdone in terms of how amazing it sounds. It truly sounds live in how it is lowered in key and imperfect in some notes (such as how the big note is split up in the middle for a breath, rather then done in one breath). Something about it even seems like it was live.
Claudette Posted September 14, 2009 at 10:52 PM Posted September 14, 2009 at 10:52 PM Well, I am still not 100% convinced about ''I Surrender'', but let's not go there again... If you listen to the A l'Olympia CD, it is obvious that even there TPOL is the same as the one she is using now and that was in 1994. So how do we know that she didn't perform it live during the A l'Olympia thing and is now using that recording... I mean, for all we know, they recorded all the playback songs during rehearsels... http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg

So, he's saying, that because now he knows that for sure, using An Audience With... and TJTMIM special as evidence, there is the distinct possibility that the tracks she used on the TCWT and such could be from live versions that were recorded and used. Now, what he is also saying is he hasn't seen the live versions of TLYM, IACBTMN, MHWGO, that she uses as tracks now etc. so how do we really know what was originally live, and what was studio done? Tell me if I'm right, Tyler. Personally, I think MHWGO was live, because they could have made it have so much more Umph in studio. I thought IACBTMN was taken from LTAL tour, because the way she pernounciates the words This and That but I was corrected. http://68.media.tumblr.com/0215da4dacb45f3375c9bf63cb89e9c3/tumblr_o3edqjdnpP1s2lrfeo1_1280.png

Tyler1991 Posted September 16, 2009 at 03:17 AM Posted September 16, 2009 at 03:17 AM Maybe they left the little voice crack in there to create a more "live" feeling. I'm a bit confused by all this, are you guys saying that they used the studio recorded notes as well as songs on the tour and other shows? What Tyler said was that it is known that they can take a live performance and take out the audience/background noise and use it as playback, which is what I had originally said. Yes, that's basically what I was saying. Although the whole thing with MHWGO is confusing to me - The ending was already lipped in LTAL Tour...why re-record the whole song to lip the first few verses before the high notes which were definitely not hard? It makes no sense.
