angelil78 Posted October 6, 2009 at 07:41 PM Posted October 6, 2009 at 07:41 PM OMG I wish I went to the Last show, those pictures are absolutely amazing no joke. none of those are from that though. I was asking Ester if she meant the last photo that was from the new book. I mean that I think all those pics are from the book released in September
Davey84 Posted October 6, 2009 at 08:26 PM Posted October 6, 2009 at 08:26 PM whaaaaaaa Céline was just on belgian tv! Belle Céline Posted October 6, 2009 at 09:33 PM Posted October 6, 2009 at 09:33 PM (edited) OMG I wish I went to the Last show, those pictures are absolutely amazing no joke. none of those are from that though. I was asking Ester if she meant the last photo that was from the new book. I mean that I think all those pics are from the book released in Septemberno I dont think any of them but possibly the last one, two of them are magazine scans I remember seeing on another site but I can't find them now and the other is from an audience with Celine Dion. Also does anyone have photo's of when Celine was in that blue and white one piece suit on the boat with RC and Rene? I believe they were in Africa? During the first part of the tour and Celine is laying with Rene, kissing him, leaning out against the boat with her arms up and kissing RC in some of them. Thomas Posted October 8, 2009 at 09:04 PM Posted October 8, 2009 at 09:04 PM http://i35.tinypic.com/10ntb49.jpg There were quite a few discussions throughout the tour where people asked about that strange looking device behind Celine in the pic above. Some thought it was an air purifier, some thought it was humidifier or a smoke machine but actually it's a camera! I saw one on TV the other day and it was kind of a "EUREKA!" moment. It's a rotating camera that filmed Mego, and the footage was sent to video screens like the one Yves Frulla had beside his keyboard and Dominic Messier had beside his drum kit so he could see him conducting and giving signals and it was probably shown to the sound technicians too. There was also a camera setup beside Andre Coutou on the other end of the stage in the guitar section which was probably for the same kind of thing. In some shots I've seen, it had rotated around and looked like it was filming Celine when she was on her knees during My Love. Just thought it was interesting for us geeks that like to know everything....lol http://i35.tinypic.com/2r3grwl.jpg

Tyler1991 Posted October 9, 2009 at 03:33 AM Posted October 9, 2009 at 03:33 AM Does anyone think the performance of MHWGO from World Children's Day is a bit over-rated? It was a beautiful performance...her voice was in top shape, but it wasn't the only performance where her voice was in top shape. In fact, I think she hit the high notes as good (if not better) on the Divas Live special, and they sounded nearly identical (not in a lip syncing kind of way) on the ANDHC special (compared to WCD). In terms of holding onto the final note, it was kind of weak. Divas live had the longest ending note, followed by the UNICEF Gala (which also had above average high notes) and the Oscar's (meh on the high notes). I can understand why people love it: - Beautiful in terms of the setting. No performance has looked better.- The high quality....it's not crappy such as Rosie O'Donnell show.- The live orchestra - adds something different and better. But is it really the best performance? She hit the high notes equally (if not better) on Rosie, Unicef, ANDHC Special, Divas Live, and Larry King (the nothing one at least). As far as the final note, on WCD she held it as long as average (3 seconds), but a few standouts were quite a bit superior - Divas Live (6 seconds), Oscar's (4.5 seconds), and UNICEF (5 seconds).

I saw them and I was like that has to be a camera, it didn't look like a humdifier or anything to me and then I saw it move on the dvd and I backed it up and slow motioned it and saw it move ever so slightly when Celine got up from her make up chair and I was Ahaa! its a camera! Also does anyone know what the devices onto Celine's SUV's were I think these were from the tour, I'm not sure? I saw them in some photo's and wondered what they were. Here are some photo's where you can clearly see them....is it a camera or what? I like that. It's a more dramatic performance. http://68.media.tumblr.com/0215da4dacb45f3375c9bf63cb89e9c3/tumblr_o3edqjdnpP1s2lrfeo1_1280.png
Davey84 Posted October 9, 2009 at 07:43 AM Posted October 9, 2009 at 07:43 AM Tyler, it's not always about the perfect notes, but sometimes more about the emotion and the ambiance http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

drove all night Posted October 9, 2009 at 05:57 PM Posted October 9, 2009 at 05:57 PM (edited) QUESTION: If the NASA really finds water on the moon, will Celine's song be re-written? Will all the unhappy relationships finally find the happy endings? NASA said Friday's rocket and satellite strike on the moon was a success, kicking up enough dust for scientists to determine whether or not there is water on the moon. (http://edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/space/10/09/probe.moon.crash/index.html) Certainly Celine's song would have been a nice "soundtrack" for all the NASA-action! I think WCD was in October or November. And I am speaking of mainly vocals. To me, the vocals are above average compared to other performances, but not the best.
