Ok. I have a question. What's with Caesar's Palace, and the Colosseum?

What made Celine want to perform in a replica of a place where so many innocent people were killed, in such an awful time in history? It just seems a little sick and twisted...

 

:doh: In the roman time a colosseum was a place for entertainment, and the entertainment of that time was different than now, then people got into fights, now Céline sings about a sinking ship :whistling:

 

 

Hm...ok then. Thanks. :shrug:

 

Well it also fits in with the Roman theme of Caesars Palace and its a beautiful landmark..

This Québec TV show aired on Radio-Canada and it was called "Allô Boubou" hosted by Jacques Boulanger("Boubou" was his nickname).

I actually got SO confused...I thought Julius Caesar and that Nero Caesar guy were the same person... :doh: :doh: :doh: But it turns out Julius Caesar was kind of just a normal King, it was the other guy who was totally evil and killed Peter and Paul in the Bible. :blushing1: It's ok, you can laugh at me. History is not my best subject, by far!!! :laugh:

Thomas I just have to say I love ur signature pic...

Non airbrushed and the original pic taken on that day by the photographer, I love it more than the final one they used and edited on the album cover :)

I just looked at my packaging slip and it states the weight is 3.3 kg which = 7.3 lbs. I hope the internet weight converter is correct LOL

I agree. I have never seen this pic before. Its great! I don't get way they made her so pale on the actual cover. It looks kinda creepy haha

Glad you like it! Though it's not the original pic. I usually take Celine pics and airbrush her little wrinkles out, so for a change I thought I would have a go at putting them back in! I had never done that before, but I think it looks pretty much how she would have looked... :lol:

There is one on eBay right now for $9.99 with about 8 hours left until the end of the auction. I'm assuming it will shoot up right before the auction closes to exactly that, an arm and a leg! $9.99 is actually not that bad. But I'm also very bad at the whole bidding thing... so I'll pass. I saw one the other day on this one website for $40. I was like what... not paying that... it's almost R400.

so I was flpping through my story my dream the other night and was reading the part about Celine saying when she sang the colour of my love in public for the first time she was gonna say Rene's name in the song. Hello everyone,

 

I've been looking for a vid and I can't find it anywhere. Celine was with a gospel choir, and she started singing gospel with a very high-pitch voice. I actually don't know if I liked it or not, but I think it was sort of impressive.

 

Does anyone have this vid or a link to it ? I've been looking for it for so long !
