I can't get over how gorgeous she looks. The dress, the make-up, the hair, the lights... everything is on point

 

It wasn't as emotional of an ending as last year's in Glasgow but that final image of her saying goodbye before fading into the darkness is priceless!

Well, I think she has performed this so many times because it is actually a good concert-type song: it has a peculiar intro, a great violin solo with the bridge, high notes and a bombastic ending. And it is pretty hard: it's a very long song which requires a stable belting range, stamina, agility and lots of breath support. I think you must be 110% warmed up to nail it! It is probably as hard as I surrender and Us, and on the contrary you don't really need much of vocal acrobatics as in Purple Rain or Love can move mountains. Basically she stopped performing RDMH as it was supposed to because it requires too much, but at the same time she can still do Think Twice or The reason and give it justice because it isn't much demanding. Let's say that the stamina factor plays a pivotal role in performing this songs

Ah ok. Thanks for explaining that. Never really thought about stamina and singing. Except for when singing AND dancing on stage. Since Celine isn't running around and dancing on stage like other artists, stamina hasn't even crossed my mind. Makes sense why you can't do that much physically on stage if the songs in itself requires like 90% of your stamina. Also Celine's songs isn't the type of dance songs anyway.

While in NZ they have posted around the same time, so IF we get a post, it should be in about 30 minutes. But I doubt we will get any

Seems I'm in minority here but I'm not missing this tour nor the end of it.

 

It's time to move on and bring NEW things to the table. It's been way too long since she's been doing this performing activity (which rarely brings new songs and surprises) so I for one can't wait to see the news coming in the future, aka brand new album, brand new songs and in the end, it all translates in brand new emotions

 

Besides this tour brought nothing new but the eternal collection of Celine hits we -and everyone- knows by heart already. The only new song she included in this tour was You're The Voice, and once again, it's not a song of her own. I won't miss that honestly

 

Also it's a tour that it's already looking like a 3-year tour in the making. A bit too repetitive and unimaginative. Will she feel it's time to move on? At least I hope they don't come up again with a "Live 20XX" thing... Surely there are more names available or something else to capture the attention from the public, rather than touring every year with the simple name of "live 2016, live 2017 and live 2018", isn't it? So hopefully the title of the next tour will have a real name, which will mean she has something new to present to the public. Otherwise...

 

I really hope for the best that Céline is also feeling this way and she's eager to unveil what she's been recording in the studio since two years ago (at least)
