While looking back at old tours. I think about how we have so little of 1990-1993 in video.

 

Just a few weeks ago some footage from something during unison tour surfaced in which a few seconds of "if we could start over" was shown being performed. Nobody seemed to have any knowledge prior!!

 

We have a setlist for celine dion tour...but aside from one performance of lcmm, a bootleg of nbbmh and DYGEL...that's it for that tour....supposedly sorry seems to be the hardest word was sang...cant help falling in love was an encore she had polished up to perfection long before the disney dvd special....natural woman was a cover she attempted before FIY....Who knows how reliable the setlist is considering we have next to nothing..for all we know she sang show some emotion a couple shows and dropped it. If you could see me now. If i were you......and man I'm thankful she sang with this tear on the tonight show at least.

 

A clip of dmqs, a full performance of tpol, a short clip of misled and unison...thats about it for tcoml..besides the French cd.

 

Just goes to show while we *CENSORED* and moan about the last 3 tours with no official releases we had a similar situation toward the beginning.

I wouldn’t mind if she will lipped RDMH as long as it’s AND/TCWT version to make it more energetic and will have a small dance number like what she did before and not by running around like what she’s doing now.

I'm feeling so bummed at the thought of this tour coming to an end, even though it's been much more quieter on here during the shows than I would expect, although probably due in part to the vast time difference and the lack of live streaming this tour, but I'm so gonna miss our daily posts and updates from Celine as I fear we'll pretty much hear nothing from her now until the autumn/fall when Vegas kicks off again.

 

I think she'll need a long break and she so deserves one, but it's such a come down after a tour cos we get so spoiled with updates etc during it.

 

I just hope they give us some kind of update on the album soon but fear we'll need to wait until next year for it now, as I'm almost certain we would know already if it was coming before the end of this year. I do hope I'm wrong!!

 

The tours are good, but new music at this point is like feeding a hungry baby

I would love to have a list made with not only the tour dates for Unison, Celine Dion & The Colour Of My Love, but also the special concerts she did shortly before these tours started.

 

That video of I'm Lovin' Every Moment With You is an example. Apparently she sang the song in a 1990 concert in Montreal, shortly after filming the music video for Unison (July of 1990) but the Unison Tour didn't start until October of that year.

 

As for the Celine Dion Tour, apparently there were two legs: First an American one (opening for Michael Bolton) and then a second leg on her own in Canada. We do know the setlist for the American leg thanks to Wikipedia, but maybe the repertoire was different for the US tour

Yes, during RDMH she goes RIGHT up to the front of the stage in vegas and has touched fans hands many times. Then as the little instrumental cuts in she runs through the band, then proceeds back to the stage and dances around anyway

 

 

The song actually is alot better without dancers, she can focus on singing, interact with fans and bandmates and still be able to have fun without having to focus on whats going on around her

 

Not to mention that its lipped to a dvd recording lol

Sorry, I just don’t like the running around on stage at the middle of the song. She can do that in LCMM. The swirling of baton and doing the little tap dance is better.

 

Even ask the non fans to compare which one is better. (The running around onstage or swirling the baton, doing the little tap dance while swirling the baton and has dancers)

 

I’m sure they’ll pick the little tap dance with the baton. This song needs to be entertaining.

The audience yelling was mostly the fans on the 2nd tier and part enhanced... as she had to restart the song and it was also very apparent she was lipping it to the audience (which mostly consisted of celebrities and special guests. sitting around the round tables on the floor), who were kinda bummed (and not very enthousiastic as you can see in the video).

 

Btw, she wasn't on tour yet when this was recorded...she was still in rehearsals..

Ok, so I just got back from the taping. I haven't been this bummed in FOREVER. I took someone to see her "live" for the first time, and was soooo embarrassed that I just wanted to leave. Not only was it obvious that she lip syncing, but she goofed up a lot. Poor gal. My friend snapped some photos during the show... I will try to post them.

 

RDMH... gggrrrr.... so not only was she lipping, but the ENTIRE audio we were hearing was playback. The band's audio wasn't live for RDMH, TPOL, The Medley, MHWGO...or any of the "hits of the past" where they were using audio playback from the Vegas show... RDMH's ENTIRE audio cuttoff midway through, and the only thing you could hear was the sound of the dancer's feet hitting the stage. No drums, no guitars, no backup vocals... nada...The re-did the song/entrance and claimed "we were too hot and made the electicity shutoff" WTF?!?!? We are not idiots. LOL Basically the ONLY time you were certain that everything was 100% live was The Prayer, with Josh. She messed up during Eyes on Me and had to re-do it. Her hand/microphone was by her side and her vocals were blaring over the speakers. LOL Everyone around me in the TeamCeline section could tell, too. No that I've re-read my post, I can tell that I am REALLY upset. Ah well...

Ah because it was playback not because of the dancing that i was talking about earlier (instead of running around the stage) so the bummed part was the playback. Who will not be bummed about it if it’s playback and they keep repeating again and again. Well, it’s not a tour..
