So, Auckland #1...last night Celine was on fire!! Amazing vocals, funny, everything....just wow! I’ve seen her quite a few times in concert but I’d say this is up there with the best (alongside, in my opinion, 1995 Manchester M.E.N., 1999 Stade de France, Paris, and 2008 Birmingham N.I.A....although I’ve enjoyed every show I’ve attended). The crowd were amazing!!! They so appreciated her being back in Auckland. She couldn’t remember exactly when it was but it was actually 22 years ago for the ‘Falling Into You’ concert, 1996 at the Aotea Theatre, a 2000 seater!!! Now she’s back playing 3 nights at Spark Arena for 30,000 more...amazing!! Bring on show #2!! (On a side note, a few on here always moan about the set list etc, but nothing beats seeing her live, for the casual fan it’s not a problem anyway, but for me, even though I’ve heard these songs many, many, many times in the 30 years I’ve followed her career, they are always so special when you hear them in the flesh...YouTube videos of fan recordings really don’t do them justice...and finally, ‘Your The Voice’ was amazing!!! Such a crowd pleaser, and the crowd sang amazingly...and for those moaning about this one, she acknowledged that it was from our neighbours and not a New Zealand song, it was a hit in New Zealand, and personally I’d have been disappointed if she hadn’t sung it...I’ve heard ‘The Reason’ before [though I love that song too!]...wonder if it will be on the new album...we’ll have to wait and see.) First off welcome , 2nd glad you enjoyed the show, the only thing that sucks for some of us here is there is NO bootlegs of any of these shows, and 2nd, there hasn't been to LiVE feeds from any of them, but I'll take what we can take, really love hearing her speeches , and also the time zones really sucks as well, cause its the next day or night there,

First off welcome , 2nd glad you enjoyed the show, the only thing that sucks for some of us here is there is NO bootlegs of any of these shows, and 2nd, there hasn't been to LiVE feeds from any of them, but I'll take what we can take, really love hearing her speeches , and also the time zones really sucks as well, cause its the next day or night there,

 

The time zones are the worst possible. Even if there were live feeds most of us would probably be unable to watch them, especially during the working days..

Oh man yes. I watch his videos and i so wanna trade lifes with him..and the videos are great. Thankfully he/she is able to attend all these shows and actually record and upload them. That person is doing us a huge favor <3

 

But only 2 shows left :down: :down: I hope Celine and her team will continue posting after the tour and maybe even do something more? Album, Netflix, interview..something,anything..(wishful thinking i know, but i still believe)

Staying for a bit of vacation? Seeing family in Montreal? Straight back to Vegas?

I hope she takes some time off and rest, share time with loved ones without the tour-timezone-airplane-stress. Maybe on a white beach far far away from the publics eye.

 

And for those of you who can't wait for this album, waiting for new stuff: Ever listened to her old, first songs. I'm pretty sure a lot of you don't know them all. Maybe a good time to dig in. There are really hidden treasures to be found!

That was a great speech, one of the best ones.

 

This was a very good audience, they wouldn't stop shouting things at her. And she sure knows how to work the crowd.

Think Twice was amazing.

I love what she does with Unison. I kind of wish she would record the song again with a modern arrangement.

She was really good during LCMM and RDMH, all around DiON this night :giggle: :pinch:
