So do we know if she was ok at the end or teary like last year. I feel so blessed to have witnessed her final show of Live 2017 in person and on my home turf too.

 

I’ll say something for this tour, although Celine’s social media has been red hot, the updates/live streams etc from fans attending has been really poor, we got so much last year and practically zero this year 😂

Maybe it was Rene who call the shots whether she will lipped this song or not. And rene knows what note she's weak so they do something about it (i remember i heard it in the interview or documentary).

I feel there is a lot more songs that she has sung live that sounds way more difficult. Also thinking of it, To love you more didn't really that well at charts if I remember.

That maybe play a part in what songs to sing. Just guessing...

They certainly have, I haven’t seen one bad review from the fans who attended. She certainly knows how to put on a show and command an audience no matter what people think about setlists etc. She really is something else live. I love her!!

I think on the contrary, it is likely I've over-estimated her pre-2000 figure ($280m feels quite high).

 

Dividing her total gross by her ticket sales leaves you with an average ticket price of around $38 - which feels too high for the early part of the decade.

 

When I have time, I'll devote it to coming up with a more specific figure.

I can only hope that a new tour does focus on the new album.and tries to stay away from certain songs she already always does

I would say out of all her songs she has ever playbacked from start to end i would say tlym is one of the harder....more so than bylm, iacbtmn, mhwgo, fiy, wdmhbn.

 

Subtly IMO the hardest is Declaration of love. I think the playback was original key and even the lone vegas performance was -2. The key is high throughout. Not sure why this song wears me out to sing along too lol.

The tour went by so fast. It was a good one, but I prefer the 2013, 2016 and 2017-tours.

If I'm going to rate the 2017, 2017, 2018 tours it would be like this

 

2016, emotional, tribute to René

2017, Let's have some fun tour (French part)

2018, Let's show them the classics

 

And for me 2017 was the best one, then 2016 and last 2018.

 

But I did attend the French part of the 2017 tour so that does influence how I feel

Well, I think she has performed this so many times because it is actually a good concert-type song: it has a peculiar intro, a great violin solo with the bridge, high notes and a bombastic ending. And it is pretty hard: it's a very long song which requires a stable belting range, stamina, agility and lots of breath support. I think you must be 110% warmed up to nail it! It is probably as hard as I surrender and Us, and on the contrary you don't really need much of vocal acrobatics as in Purple Rain or Love can move mountains. Basically she stopped performing RDMH as it was supposed to because it requires too much, but at the same time she can still do Think Twice or The reason and give it justice because it isn't much demanding. Let's say that the stamina factor plays a pivotal role in performing this songs

While I’m glad many fans enjoyed themselves, as a follower of Celine’s for decades, this tour did absolutely nothing for me. I’m glad “Unison” and “To Love You More” were brought back, but to not include at least one “new to the stage” song is pretty underwhelming. (I don’t count “You’re The Voice” as it’s a cover.) Hopefully, if she tours next year, things will be different.

Celine seemed to really enjoy herself and I'm thrilled for the fans who got to see her!

 

Celine's looking fantastic these days too. So happy she's happy and I feel incredibly lucky to follow a singer who's been consistently STELLAR with her performances / vocals for all these YEARS

 

 

Can't for the remainder of the year ------ a new album?!! What else might happen?!
