Well, my biggest takeaway from this John Farnham thing is that it seems Celine discovered this / learned it from watching him sing it on YouTube?

So you see, she goes down YT rabbit holes just like the rest of us!

 

That might explain how she found "Feels Like Heaven" (remember that rumour in the New English Album thread?) Those two songs are around the same vintage, no? Maybe she's scouring 80's playlists.

 

Also, the Australian media certainly picked this up in a big way!

I picked up on this sentence when I read the article. Poor girl has got it bad! It's the one thing that I think she has left to pursue and conquer professionally. It makes me wonder what movies she went for and why they didn't pan out. Des Fleurs is fantastic, although a bit heavy for my tastes.

I picked up on this sentence when I read the article. Poor girl has got it bad! It's the one thing that I think she has left to try professionally.

Well this year she's gotten the attention of several film makers, for her singing but still. Ryan being the first, these two women, and Netflix (if we go by the tweeting and Celine following them). Who knows, she might be getting closer to finally being on the screen 🤔. After seeing some OITNB comments on her Instagram perhaps the world is ready for Celine Dion movie star lol.

 

Also, she might have just been joking with them.
