CelinesDIVO5 Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:27 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:27 PM Law was with her because the red carpet is the entrance, and she was doing interviews. If something falls out of place as she's walking, he should be there to fix it. He also had to be with her to get backstage and help her change. He's also part of Celine's entourage. Why oh why must you all create alterior motives for everyone? How about thinking logically. superstar85ca Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:35 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:35 PM I thought the dress, hair and makeup for her arrival were stunning. Perez Hilton disagreed but what the hell does he know about fashion anyway? He does love Celine but he didn't love the dress. I hate when that happens, not that it matters but of course it's a bit annoying! The dress for her presentation of the award was also just killer. She looks amazing!! I'm getting a sense of the industry people and her peers are finally realizing how beautiful and fashion forward she is! All hail Queen Celine!! 1 Quote
Javito Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:42 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:42 PM (edited) But guys, what are you talking about, seriously? Can't you see that it was the ET reporter who invited Lady Gaga to come to them and greet Céline, more than any other twisted interpretations you are speculating with? It's pretty obvious the reporter called Lady Gaga, and what's more, I'd say he looked more interested to get the attention of Lady Gaga more than the person who he was interviewing -Céline, so if (and only *if*) there's any rudeness here, that's coming from the ET reporter, who cut off the interview with Céline only to focus on the arrival of Gaga Nobody interrupted anything here but the reporter himself. Not in vain poor Céline inmediately said "so I'd better hurry" presuming the reporter would want to interview her right away... Omg ! better to read that than being blind. She made an effort ? hahaha indeed that's a lot of work to step aside and say hi.^^ There's the ET TV part and well you can say that she hesitated to snob her. There's a whole world between Céline's and her attitude.Céline said how r you and compliments and she barely answered... I just can't with this comment. Yes that's the gaga's usual attitude but that doesn't mean we have to accept it. I give loads of credits to Celine interrupting her interview and her TV moment to talk to someone like lady Gaga. Céline is way too good and the world way to silly to make people with such a diva attitude a star. Edited February 13, 2017 at 06:51 PM by Javito 3 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

smash Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:53 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 06:53 PM Of course not. But it is generally acknowledged (at least in my country) that "the bow" to someone (even minimal), made involuntarily (not learned or calculating), is an expression of the highest respect. Same here in South Africa, it is also a sign of respect Sharon 1 Quote

That's always been apparent when he interviews her. Yes, kidding, but pretty aware that that ET reporter might prefer to interview Lady Gaga rather than her. He showed little manners sorry. If he was about to interview Céline, he's interviewing Céline, and it doesn't come very nice to be cut off because the interviewer appears to be more focused on other guests coming behind you And please I'm not mad about this, nor that I care the least about this encounter (I'm not a Gaga fan). Suffice to say that it was thanks to this reporter that the meeting between both artists was possible yesterday. Hadn't he called the attention of Gaga, Céline would never have known she was coming right behind her you are absolutly right, the ET reporter didn't show good manners. smash Posted February 13, 2017 at 07:09 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 07:09 PM A bow is perhaps the "highest" form of showing respect, but it is far from the only one (bowing can even come off as 'mocking"). It's definately not a common practice in the Western world. A nod, handshake, hugs or kisses are the most common and practically used. Gaga showed Céline respect in her way, just like Beyonce did by waving to Céline (and Céline returning it with a thumbs up). Agreed, hugs and kisses, shaking hands etc, what you are saying, is also perfectly fine, nothing wrong with it at all. That is also very common here So lots of hugs and kisses from me to ALLL of you Sharon 1 Quote

LukeD Posted February 13, 2017 at 07:51 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 07:51 PM Causa Gaga and CelineWhen you look at the video again, again and again. There is clearly seen the body language of the two ladiesCeline as always decent and respectful She does not behave like "I am somebody and you did nothing." And Gaga is not even know how to call it - but her actually did not care because except in 2010where they had a nice photo along nicely and friendly that it can be seen that actually why should properly stand for Celine and take a photo.Because it has not really need now it is a "star".And by the way, and Adele she did not have great humility and respect when Celine give her awards . It was coldly and measured. Adele paid tribute to Beyonce what was a little bit off because Beyonce did not give her awards. And there is also another possibility why so fast Gaga "ran" away because her outfit was the horrible in comporarison to how Celine shine on the red carpet. My view of the whole situation. You are seeing things. Adele warmly hugged Celine after acting as if she was bowing down. You do not get a better reacting within 4 seconds on interaction. Other than that I do not get why all of you take for granted that Celine should be respected by everyone. I bet there are industry people who might not feel her music or voice and this is acceptable. Seems like we all judge people on the standard that Celine has to be treated as some kind of pop music deity and I really think this is not the case. 2 Quote

LukeD Posted February 13, 2017 at 08:06 PM Posted February 13, 2017 at 08:06 PM (edited) I've come to a point today: I think Celine cried after giving the award to Adele 'cause Hello means to her way more than we think. She could easily relate it to her final moments with René... The first thing I have to say is that Celine proved me wrong for implying her admiration for Adele was not genuine. I posted a comment a few days ago and Celine completely invalidated it. Now I think her love for Adele is true seeing how she reacted. Second, my interpretation of her crying is that she became emotional because she felt as if she was passing the torch to the new generation of singers, which explains why she took the time to point out her glory days when MHWGO won a Grammy. I know that Celine will be active and that she has a lot to offer, but maybe Celine realizes her days collecting Grammy Awards are over since the awards are heavily correlated to current music acts and sales. What was on that warm embrace, nothing. And Celine , has a natural respect .for example when Mariah and Britney started later in Vegas with their ShowCeline sending them flowers and support for them. And Celine , showed respect for Adele so that it pays tribute in her show in Vegas .and sings her song. But Adele when taking awards will pay tribute to Beyonce so that's out.Nobody here does not judge anyone only express an opinion. It should be a realistic look at things as they really are.And really was looking at body language and what they give out. What they say and what gesture give out.
