I would be the biggest compliment to Celine if the new song is the new main soundtrack.

That would mean Celine comes first and the new version of BATB comes after.

 

I love it anyway that Celine got the honor of singing the new song which is the new theme throughout the entire film.

That's so much better and bigger than cover your own old song again

Security is sooo tight at premieres especially as you enter the actual theatre to sit and watch it... they search everything and there are staff who properly patrol the room during the show also, as I attended a Spider-Man premiere a few years back and they mean business lol.

 

I just wish TC would give us a 30 sec clip, like the good old days

Alan talks about Celine during the premier last night...

 

 

He mentioned keeping the French charm...HOW DO YOU DO THAT WITH A LEAD ACTRESS SPEAKING IN A BRITISH ACCENT?!?! Sorry...but it's been bugging me since the trailer came out that Emma Watson's accent is very English and this movie took place in France. The opening number (if done the same) is going to be so odd after they sing "Bonjour! Bonjour!" and then she sounds like all she wants is tea and crumpets.

I tried asking someone who was at the premier but he wouldn't budge. It seems, as is always in events like this, they are bound by a contract of confidentiality. Oh well, at least we tried. Anyway, here was his reply when I asked what he thought of the new songs by Celine and Josh:

 

Hey! I stayed till the very end. I adored all of the new songs, they were perfect.

 

No spoilers I'm afraid all I will say is that it's amazing!

Haha true! You are not the only one.

There are lot of complaints about the accent and that only Lumiere is the one with a french accent.
