I knew this version! I think it is remarkable how she shifts her voice from being soft to being rather heavy when she sings the part of Peabo! Edited by LukeD

I just woke up and dreamed about the new song and i'm watching it on youtube and the sound is amazing. It's so orchestral. Her voice is still sound a bit forward like Recovering. Well, it's just a dream but it sounds so real hahaha

The international trailer just came out... just the same footage and same "orchestral version" of BATB although we get to hear a tiny bit of a different section of the song... i.e. Chip, the small cup, seems to be adding his melodies into the song (movie version i guess)!....

But still this version is for trailer only. The pop version will not fit on the trailer because the trailer is all orchestral.

There will also be a re-release of the original german soundtrack including Céline's and Angela Lansbury's B&tB version.

Ariana Grande & John Legend's "Beauty And The Beast" starts at #87 on the Hot 100 -- one place higher than the Celine Dion-Peabo Bryson version.

Ariana Grande & John Legend’s remake of the classic “Beauty And The Beast” theme earns a spot on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

On the strength of its opening week sales and streams, the cover takes #87 on this week’s Hot 100.

Previewing this week’s Hot 100, Billboard’s Trevor Anderson notes that it debuts one place higher than the Celine Dion-Peabo Bryson version.

Their 1991 recording started at #88 en route to a #9 peak.

The Grande-Legend version appears on the soundtrack to the upcoming live action “Beauty And The Beast” film, which opens on March 17.

She should premiere it at the Oscars! I think the original song cannot be nominated again so Céline's should stand a chance!

They don't premiere songs at the Oscars. Only the songs that are nominated are sung as far as I know...

And with all the losses we've had this past year, the In Memoriam section is gonna be an hour! No room for fluff in that 4-hour spectacle.

I find this version awesome! She handles the song perfectly on her own and i do not even miss the optional and dispensible male singer :giggle:
