The venue has no other option than to cancel the forthcoming Céline Dion events on Sunday 25 June and Tuesday 1 August. The shows will now take place at Leeds First Direct Arena on Sunday 25 June and Wednesday 2 August. Ticketholders for the original Arena dates will be given a full refund and the chance to re-book tickets, 48hrs before the general public, for the new Leeds First Direct Arena show. Fans will be contacted directly by their original ticket agent with details of how to book for the change in venue. What is going on? I am fuming with Celine's Management. £360 seems to matter little to her team! Sorry, but this has NOTHING to do with Céline at all. They DO offer refunds. It's just Viagogo deciding they won't give you that option (most likely because it's an administrative hassle for them). If I were you, I'd call them and threaten with angry letters to consumer's report, newspapers....anything you can think of really. Could be one of these cases that if you don't relent you'll get your way. As for hotels, I guess many fans will be in the same situation? Can't you maybe organize for a bus or shuttle to take you to Leeds together? If there's many of you, it might not even be so expensive. 3 Quote

How nice would it be to say anything you like without others responding back? But this is not the way it goes. Flash-news people! Freedom of speech is NOT Immunity from criticism! Regardless, I think it's a bit foolish to go posting a bunch of negative comments about someone who we all admire and care about. Obviously, if we keep returning to this forum, Celine has touched us / been there for us moreso than the average fan. So why spread any negativity? I think it's crazy to question Celine's integrity as an artist. She is absolutely an artist. A legend. An Icon. For those of you who do not consider Celine an artist -- I hope you can, at the very least, admire her strength, work ethic, and the fact that she's preserved her ONE OF A KIND voice after so many years of singing. Who else has performed as frequently as Celine Dion --- and has done it so consistently STRONG? No matter what night you see Celine perform -- whether it's on tour or in Vegas --- she ALWAYS delivers. You ALWAYS feel special to be in the same room with her. I hate that some of us get so wrapped up in trying to manage her career from behind our computers (doesn't get you very far, does it?). And just take a breath and enjoy the fact that this woman has given us so much ------- and she is STILL DELIVERING. I feel incredibly fortunate to know that I will be able to see her perform live again soon. I just watched some YouTube videos of these first couple performances from the tour. And it gave me chills. I mean there's not much time between dates and really want her to keep a few weeks after tour before vegas resumes.
