I 'm glad that she doing LMBTL, again , I know that she hasn't done it since Rene passed away, which was understanding ,but so glad that she back doing that song

I still don't understand why she cut those two songs if she had to cut songs. She cut MISLED and TREAT HER LIKE A LADY, I don't think many people miss the cut of MY LOVE. I do think that IF she had to cut two songs from the medley those were the two to go but man they could've have at least given us full versions of REFUSE TO DANCE and LOVE IS ALL WE NEED TO make up for it.

 

Also think that TAKING CHANCES and LOVED ME BACK TO LIFE don't really work well live and in my opinion they never have, they could've replaced those two songs with A NEW DAY HAS COME and STAND BY YOUR SIDE, I'm sure they would be better vocally.

Well, folks, Celine made it very clear (again) tonight her English career is just a job for money. "Artistically", she only cares about her French material.

 

She is an entertainer; a performer. An artist she is not. I will stand by that statement until she shows otherwise.

 

Then why continue being a fan? If you're so completely disappointed, then relish in what you love about her and leave everything else to the wayside.

I think she cut songs which did not get a warm reaction from the crowd. As few people noticed already the reception for the medley was not very warm. Which goes to prove wrong those who would think that the general public cares about obscure Celine songs. If anything is proven is that people demand the hits and well known songs. And I hate to admit it, but LCMM and RDMH can get the crowd going much more effectively than THLAL or Misled.

I LOVE that Loved me back to life is being done. I am not too crazt about the key being lowered but I get why. I will miss Misled but was never a big fan of treat her like a lady. I will be a bit sad if Love is all we need gets cut, but honestly, guys, this is soooooo not the end of the world. This is probably not the time when people want to hear my "she doesn't even have to be doing this anymore" speech, so I won't. But I think/hope? you all get it by this point.

She is still sining plenty of songs she has not sung in years which sound absolutely beautiful. For those fortunate enough to see her live; and I have many times ; it's a rare experience of true artistry and craftsmanship displayed by a professional who takes care of herself. Google some Whitney Houston performances in Europe from 2009 and see that disaster.

 

Be grateful you have Celine performing top notch in your country and suck it up if she dropped a few songs for reasons we may not be aware of.

And I can only agree with what you are suggesting theoretically! What you say does make sense, as we have seen obscure songs becoming standard songs for her tours, as a result of Celine performing them again and again. However, I think that it is practically difficult to push more songs into public's consciousness at this stage of her career. LCMM and RDMH needed over a decade of non-stop performing to get there. And they were performed during the 90s as well. Even if she incorporated new up-tempo songs to her show in Vegas, I think it would have a small impact among the general public. Her 2011-2017 performances are limited compared to the number of performances she gave between 2003 and 2009!

Guys I'm one fan who finds every Celine song unique and fun in its own way! I still listen to Love Can Move Mountains all the time and I find it fun! Enough of the expectations crap! Everyone on the forum is sick of it!! Celine fans never hate her music!! Unless you are a secret Mariah fan spying on us then leave! Now as of Misled & Treat Her Like A Lady being removed, I'm a little sad but not mad! I think she's doing so awesome go Celine!! We love or Celine and she would be heartbroken if she read #celinefails :-( I can't believe someone did that! How disgusting and tacky!! I love that she added Love Is All We Need because that's one of my favorites!! I appreciate everything she does including the Vegas show!! I love the Vegas show! There is never a dull moment! Recovering is beautiful and it makes me cry!! Now I honestly think she sang those two songs in Copenhagen for the DVD!! How much you wanna bet she wanted to do something extra for the DVD!! I remember attending a concert in Greece 8 years ago, which lasted for almost 3 hours! It was because the singer had a great time, she was genuinely enjoying herself and decided to sing more. It was a spot-on decision! And everyone was happy about it. No criticisms of fans who had attended previous, shorter in length concerts.

 

What happens in this forum is ridiculous.

And we have seen this with her French material as well. Destin, DUAM, JOTI have been heavily supported during her tours and they are well-known songs. On the other hand, she has given stage time to Immensite and QPVSA during the previous tours, but these songs are FAR from becoming concert standards.

 

And I cannot really blame Celine for picking specific songs to perform over and over again. The fact that she has created some modest hits by performing them is a very remarkable achievement! As such, we should be positive about it. To point out this achievement, in order to complain because Celine hasn't treated other songs the same way, is an indication of us being spoiled.

See that's terrible , I wasn't happy about certain decisions they made, but why in the world would they bother complaining to her son, a young boy. Some fans are nuts and are a little too obsessed and over the top, they need to get a hobby.

I agree! And I absolutely LOVE how I have a negative impression of specific members and posts, and the forum shares this impression.

 

I find complains to be ridiculous. Celine does more live singing in this tour than she has done since the days of the Unison tour (I am referring to English concerts)! Moreover, the concert lasts for over 2 hours which must be more than any of her previous tours!

 

I am as proud as ever! And to me Celine is still a professional and an artist!

Hi everyone! I'm kinda new here so, I'm still coping up with the discussions and observing the people here. It's so disappointing when I read some comments of people hating her, people who call themselves fans. I understand that there were expectations after Celine just gave us a shocking setlist ( shocking 'cause some of it I've never heard before hahaha) and many of us are anticipating that it would remain this way. But I think some of you had crossed the border, didn't you even think what would Celine feel IF EVER she reads all of this? Come on guys, we love Celine right?
