The band is rehearsing! (check Judy Kang's insta story) Do you think they'll change up the show a bit? Are they part of the L.A. event? Tour rehearsals?

Thought that the blonde violinist is back home and not in Vegas. But I can be wrong

Yeah and Dawn and Philippe are in Montréal/Québec, so I don't think it's recent...

With all this hype about New tour/album

Can we officially say goodbye to a "Live in las Vegas concert" blu ray?

 

I would love to have a blu ray of this second residency BUT with the old show.

You know the blue dress of MHWGO, the Amazing green dress for purple rain, the lovely white dress of ABM, the setlist when she used to sing I surrender and Immortality, the duet with Celine herself, an bring back "If I can dream" duet with Elvis.

 

They could put a mix of new/old show and get the best of them to film a great concert.

Its a shame we're not getting a proper shot of that amazing waterfall in MHWGO. 😭

 

I didn't like This "new" version of the show to be recorded 🙄

Yeah I can't believe they won't release a DVD after all these year with the show. There's plenty of options to make a really cool release out of this. Any way to contact them and ask?

I´m t okay with the 2015 version or the recent one (ashes, I´m alive, you´re the voice, PQTME are in there)...atleast we get any dvd please :)

I will sell well I´m sure, and also with this background promo of celine´s world tour, new album...it will keep her in public eyes. And then do a TC tour dvd sample with english and french show being filmed and with a documentary about the tour and new album (like TTEOTW)...the demand is and will be very high for these dvds

I prefer a film about whole the show for the entire period from 2011 to 19, with interviews, backstage, and musical numbers such as i surrender, WDMHBN ... than the regular best hits corcert DVD.

Hmmm..unless CP/The Colosseum wants to rebrand and aim a different [younger] target group, Katy Perry would be better off at the Zappos... :unsure:

 

Shania will also be making a Vegas announcement in June... she did a tour @ Zappos a while ago... so her new residency will either be there, or back at The Colosseum.

Yeah, her latest tour in my country didn't sell well, I saw that till the day of the concert the tickets still available more than half capacity, and myfriend who bought cheap tickets can move to higher price seat because that's the most empty seat.

Well depends the length of the residency. The term residency does not have the meaning it had. It can be quite short. There is very few residency a la Celine. Most are limited engagements.

 

Mariah Carey is selling on average 90% of the tickets of her last residency (which is a couple of dates) whereas for her North America tour she is now performing in small venues (theatres of 3.000 - 4.000 seats) and not arenas.

 

So if Katy Perry could not sell out arenas she may still sell a bunch of tickets in a limited Vegas residency (capacity of 4.000 - 5.000).

It’s literally saying its sad how mariah isn’t selling out (as other people above mentioned) there was no shade or hate behind it, its genuinely sad because not long ago she was selling out arenas state side
