Celine (Las Vegas show) [ends: June 8th, 2019] - Official topic

I'm not sure probably Celine herself lol.

But i truly believe Pepe is helping to style Celine now, ever since he came in the picture as her "creative director " or whatever bogus title they gave him notice Law was less and less in the picture as her stylist. I think Pepe is also very into fashion...

Whoever choose these outfits tho please insert contact lenses before doing that job next time, or maybe they need a pair of Annie Horths big glasses. But terrible choice! I get it, if Celine is happy then great but come on she has a imagine to keep. Whatever she wears on her days off the stage is fine but onstage she needs pro advice lol

That is my understanding from what Pepe said too, he has been employed to help her with fashion stuff and turned up in Vegas in time for rehearsals for the tour. That makes sense as most of the trips they made out and about together in Paris last year were to fashion houses. It stands to reason therefore that he has been involved in choosing the outfits.

He seems to have good style himself apart from the annoyingly too short jeans, but has always struck me as probably a bit of a yes man. I wonder if Celine came up with something a bit crazy or ugly, how much he would actually be able to steer her in the opposite direction.

Either way as long as the first outfit from Copenhagen does not make a reappearance, I'm sure it will ok. She will probably switch outfits throughout the tour anyway.

I like all the new outfits except for the graduation ceremony dress, smock thing she wears for the middle section of the show.

FIY would work better with the dancing if it was performed like the RTD routine on the TCOML concert. More dancers around her. With just Pepe, and that routine, it’s not anything special.

Can’t wait to see what the differences are with songs, outfits etc at the first show!

Yes! This might be a really unpopular opinion, but I just cannot figure out what the appeal of Pepe is. It was one thing when he joined the show for Le Ballet last year and brought some new energy, but now with FIY, it just seems so awkward to me. If there were more dancers, that would help, but it just seems to totally random to have him there for one song. At this point, it feels like he's just hanging on to her coattails, and they are just scrambling to find things to justify keeping him around.

And if he's involved in the fashion decisions, I am not impressed. The only outfit I actually like is the gold suit. The black TLYM dress is completely generic. The choir gown is an odd choice. I don't mind the pink MHWGO dress from the front, but the back with the illusion netting and rhinestones makes it look so cheap. The pink and green dress is fun, but I could take it or leave it.

Just because Pepe is artistic and interested in fashion doesn't make him an amazing stylist. I know a lot of people love his involvement, but if this is what he is bringing to the table creatively, I'm disappointed. But, then again, who knows, maybe he wasn't involved in any of the decision making...

Am I the only one who thinks the "green and pink" mini dress is actually silver? I think the lighting make it look green.

Also, I like that she sometimes picks out her own clothes, shows me what kind of things are her style, what she likes, etc. Doesn't mean we all have to like them. I don't think they are all that terrible at all actually. I love seeing what she wears of course but also love her most for her singing and personality.

mmmm Pepe

I doubt he has something to do with the wardrobe she wore on stage this weekend. But no matter what anyone says or recommends to her, she has the last word. She won't wear something she doesn't like

Sometimes I see silver and sometimes green and sometimes blue. But I think it's the lights that changes the color. 0c22a60701d0984acab5b8d557916c33.jpg072b320073c03532162bcaa48e6d866f.jpg

Sure Céline can make her decisions, but when 80% of the outfits don't look good, it's time to get help!!

Either Law or Annie, but some help please!! :-D

I always said she should have kept Annie on for the stage wardrobe, and let Law do the other stuff. But IF Pepe chose these he should stick to dressing himself and drawing his French women lol.

It is a distracting strategy. Made on purpose. So that fans concerned with playback issues stop over analyzing her voice during the show lol

If that’s the case. I wonder what she’s doing with that weird choir parachute outfit, maybe she changes right onstage in it as she’s singing to save time.

Remember at the first show of the 2017 your, she wore that bizarre outfit with the writing over her t shirt and the socks and heels and sweater ties round her waist? And then it morphed into more Céline Standard opening attire and she thankfully abandoned the former...and remember the ABM parachute of doom?! That was ridiculous.

The green/blue/silver mini dress would be better if it didn’t have those weird pink plastic corners!

Nothing makes sense lol, even the opening gold suit looks like it belongs in Hillary Clinton's closet.

For the last 2 tours, we didn't know anything about the setlists.

Everyone involved acted all mysterious and wouldn't answer fan questions.

Remember we even had to try to decipher the setlist in some grainy picture? (good times :P)

And now they 'spoil' all the surprises?

I could be completely wrong, but I'm not sure I buy it.

I think we're still in for a few surprises, despite the hints we've been given.

Also, some things just seem unfinished to me.

Take the dance with Pepe for one.

Now that I've seen Brendan's footage (thank you so much btw!), I do actually enjoy the dance. But it needs a few tweaks to make it flow more.

Like someone else said: Maybe a few other couples dancing would be nice addition? (could be locals every time, it's not too complex).

And a different outfit (maybe even a different dancer, who knows? :P)

Speaking of outfits, some of you must've forgotten that most of the clothes from the last 2 tours were average to terrible.

This time around I actually adore the 'shocking pink' dress (at least the front).

And I like the little green/silver/pink one, it's spunky.

The black one is standard but looks nice on her.

Still, it wouldn't surprise me if she showed up in Asia with entirely different outfits.

Remember a lot of the Copenhaguen outfits only lasted for 1 or a few shows...

I also have to wonder if she reads this forum sometimes ,

I guarantee someone very close to her does if not her.

How else would FIY with a Pepe dance happen? That was speculated by someone here months ago! Is it possible its just coincidence, yeah, but the odds of that... not likely .

I can only see silver - both dress and boots. lol Someone who was there this weekend says it's definitely silver. Very shimmery and shiny though, I'm sure it was reflecting a lot of different colors from the stage lights.
