CSCfan Posted March 23, 2018 at 10:39 AM Posted March 23, 2018 at 10:39 AM (edited) https://www.newswire...-595783351.html It was 2016 not 2013 "I have known Gilles for many years. When I was at the Cirque du Soleil, I worked with him on a number of projects. I admire his audacity, his flair and his ability to bring people together around a common vision. His approach, experience and extensive network of contacts around the world make him a valuable ally for Céline and I. We are very pleased that he is joining our team," said Mr. Giampaolo. "I eagerly accepted Aldo's invitation to take on this exciting challenge. It is an honour for me to work with Céline Dion, a unique artist with an exceptional voice and unlimited potential," said Gilles Ste-Croix." But i don't know if gilles still part of it now but Céline said that before that the brand new show is ready Like I said: there's no mention of him being hired specifically for the new show. The only thing they mentioned is that his first project would be to work on a musical of some sorts about Céline's life in 2 versions (English & French). And again: they've never said a new show is ready. mirage Posted March 23, 2018 at 11:14 AM Posted March 23, 2018 at 11:14 AM It sounds so extreme. Really hope they can fix it. Here's is the interview of the single professor Johanne Laby: http://www.tvanouvelles.ca/2018/03/22/chanter-devient-impossible-pour-celine-cest-paniquant This professor worked with Celine in the last months for his books released in the last months and preface of the new book has been by Celine. CaesarCeline Posted March 23, 2018 at 12:22 PM Posted March 23, 2018 at 12:22 PM I’ve been a fan since 1995 and I can tell you that celine’s weight is a reflection of her overall health & happiness. It fluctuates quite a lot and if she looks very thin or quite curvy it means something is wrong. Recently she has been so very thin. I knew something was wrong. I do not believe at all that she has anorexia by the way. I just think that her body responds to stress by losing weight rapidly. 4 Quote J'ai besoin de tes yeux, c'est le miroir ou j'existe, sans eux je ne me vois pasRegarde-moi http://img.noiset.com/images/artist/celine-dion-disc-5017.jpeg

scielle Posted March 23, 2018 at 01:14 PM Posted March 23, 2018 at 01:14 PM (edited) I'm pleasantly surprised how much coverage there has been of all this. I've seen probably over a hundred articles. People clearly care. Here's one that speaks a bit about the condition: http://nationalpost....ing-celine-dion "One of those surgical options involves injecting fat around the eustachian tube to "bulk it up a little bit" to try to make the valve behave as it should, said Lin. "But it's a short-term solution most of the time because the fat is resorbed."Some people take the extreme step of scarring the valve so it closes, but that can cause fluid to build up or the ear drum to get sucked in, he said."With my patients, I tell them there is no easy fix for this ... these patients are very, very challenging because the number one thing is to manage their expectations so they know that what we're going to try may only be temporary or may not work at all."" Dion2000 Posted March 23, 2018 at 04:27 PM Posted March 23, 2018 at 04:27 PM Yeah! She should end the current show and do the Brand New Show that they prepared for how many years now (since gilles ste. croix was mentioned back in 2013).... i remember they said that the brand new show is ready but they don’t know what date to start because of the current show. Dude..... Gilles was mentioned once and never again. And from that it was a new bilingual musical on Celines life. NOT a new show You make it sound like its a done deal and confirmed. Celine has never said a new show is completed EVER. She just said their they want to come back differently indicating they havent even decided. Plus now Aldos gone Gilles could also be gone. This musical has never been spoken about since and you are taking it severly out of context. I agree with CSCFan, nothing was mentioned of a new vegas show, the supposed musical with Gilles has probably been scrapped either due to Aldos leave or when Celine took her 2014-2015 year off. She cant just scrap a contract, start a new show and scrap everything planned. The contract being scrapped could severly damage ties to vegas (Caesars own or have shares in almost ALL vegas attractions) and shes perfectly stable so why would she risk it. Give me proof of Celine stating out right there is a new show but they dont have it as the current show is in motion. Cause she didnt say that EVER, neither did Aldo Quote

She or He (i dont remember) told that they started to work on a complete new show for Vegas but it was still the beginning so way too early to tell something else and there was no date for a premiere. 1 Quote

I just mentioned it because i remember The Red Heads, said "The preparation of a complete new Las Vegas Show has started with Gilles Ste-Croix but that was back in December 2016... sfbaysinger Posted March 24, 2018 at 12:56 AM Posted March 24, 2018 at 12:56 AM I am most likely not ready for her to retire yet. If that has to happen, obviously her health comes first. But I am NOT ready yet. Not even close. I vacillate between faith and hope and absolute worry. This is hard, but as I said when Rene was fighting his battle, this has to be harder times a million for her. 1 Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

noellemarie Posted March 24, 2018 at 01:54 PM Posted March 24, 2018 at 01:54 PM Does anyone know when Céline's current contract ends for the residency? I believe I read 2019. I know they are likely not making any announcements/decisions right now because they are waiting to see how she will heal. I'm just wondering, if all goes well, if it's possible that they'll add more dates in the Fall. If I'm not going to get to see her for an undetermined amount of time, I'm not going to cancel my trip. But obviously I would rather spend the money to go while she's there. Of course no one knows what's going to happen with the surgery, I'm just purely speculating. I don't want to take a chance on the May/June dates because I have a feeling they'll be cancelled..... So my question is, does anyone know the end date of the current Vegas contract? Quote

Xpresso Posted March 24, 2018 at 05:15 PM Posted March 24, 2018 at 05:15 PM Claudette needs to be told to stop talking for Céline - mainly if she doesn't know anything.Of course, it's strange for her to do an interview about Maman Dion Foundation and then being asked about Céline. But instead of going on and on, it would be wise for her to say I don't know any more than you do. Period. Awwww Claudette loves TV too much... 3 Quote
Kyle_Jared Posted March 24, 2018 at 07:16 PM Posted March 24, 2018 at 07:16 PM (edited) Lot of people at work, others around that have been reading newspapers I have over heard saying "She cancels more than she plays...I would never book tickets now." As die-hard fans, we know that's not true. But these past few months with the media and many cancelled dates is leaving the public with sour taste. She best reduce her future date, because she will have a hard time selling what she used to, given the cancellation history. And as much as this is not her fault (I know it's not); she will have to do some damage control and hopefully do some press in April to advise the surgery went well (HOPING it does) and that she is feeling much better. If we hear no news; i'm assuming it didn't go well. When she cancelled events (a string of) in the past she did press to say she was feeling much better (2012)-Today Show-. She'll need to do the same here. Im guessing we're hooped for the new album now.......urgh I don't know what to expect. Edited March 24, 2018 at 07:21 PM by Kyle_Jared Quote

québecflower Posted March 24, 2018 at 09:41 PM Posted March 24, 2018 at 09:41 PM it is ok to find that this a risk booking a trip to see Celine in Vegas, even if it 's been the case in the past also. But i find it is not the moment to write about it at the moment, if you are a fan. She needs our support, don't go see her show if you want, never been to Vegas myself, but let others take their own decisions. 4 Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....
DionFanAlways Posted March 25, 2018 at 12:22 AM Posted March 25, 2018 at 12:22 AM She needs a manager to deflect some of this perception of her right now. I will continue to book Vegas as long as she is there. I do understand the expense and disappointment if you travel from Europe and other far reach corners of the globe. I would feel the same as y'all if I was traveling to catch one of her tours over there. (since the woman does not tour the States. ) 3 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman!
