LOL if they ever actually made any of those changes I'd totally just boycott the show. That's not a dream, that's a nightmare.

To each his own, I suppose.

Really!? And I was thinking any fan would love those changes. 😂 That's the fun in diversity

I think it's terrible if two opposing opinions can not be side by side in a forum. I do not analyze Celine's career, her highlights, do not know exactly each album or all the songs she covers. But I still have an opinion about what she does, what I like and things I do not like. I like Javito. He not only writes negatively, as is claimed here, and I can respect his opinion about various things, also I sometimes think otherwise. Worse, I find people in the forum who insult others and personally attack. Would these people also tell the other person exactly the same way? certainly not ! For example, I have never been to Las Vegas and I will not be able to. But nevertheless I may have an opinion. I do not like 20 minutes of monologues, because I think that not only English-speaking people are there who speak and understand English, but international audiences. Older people, in particular, probably do not understand a word and may be disappointed. I also do not like a few songs. I would like to have others instead. We all can see videos about everything we want and of course everyone can say and represent their opinion. That makes a forum interesting, I think.

Woah! Thank you! :o That came as a complete surprise to me! I don't think I've seen you around before, but thanks again for your support and your view, it's very much appreciated right now!!! And please, don't be a stranger!

Insulted? Yes, that's me too. I've been insulted and mocked too for being vocal with my opinions, but that was mostly one noisy member that luckily he's become quiet lately... Others are doing his job anyway :P :whistling:

Saturation stage in 2000??? Now that's funny :mdr: Where are we now then???

Why need to ask when you quoted what I said?

And the moment Céline decided to take an extended break, her (biggest) peak was over, it's plain and simple. Yes, she was still very succesful and in demand in 2002, but just less than in the late '90's.

Even if that break she took ruined her "peak", I'm very glad she did it. I'd rather her having children than have a blossoming career. She could never have gone through the IVF with the schedule she was on.

And I do think her peak would have run out eventually. Break or no break.

So funny again! :whee: So Céline went on a break totally conscious that she was leaving at the top of her career and that very few artists would do the same and that it was a daring decision (all of this said by René and Céline during 1999 when asked why she was retiring), but either way both her and René knew they would stop at the end of 1999, even one year before in late 1998 they knew it!... But they knew the peak was over by then! LOOOOOL!!!

And then her peak was over on January 2000. Just after the lights went off, all of a sudden, the arrow on the graphic changed directions and it went down, free fall right to the bottom, isn't it? Rrrrrright :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:

This. Says. It. All.

But keep living in your dream world Javito 😘

Anyway, hope she extends for 50 more years! :cheer:

I was a bit more active here when Celine had her European tour, but my English is just not enough to participate in some of the discussions. But I read everything, every day. :innocent:

it is not what you say but the number of times you say it. I jump over but some can be affected as i think that it could be perceived as a lack of respect for one's intelligence to be submitted to that kind of repetition.

Wow, I really feel moved now. If something positive can be taken out of all this is that two fans that are not active members then feel like posting and come to say something, and as right or wrong we are, they leave no indifference here. So my job has been done again here :) :) :) (Maybe I won't end up that alone as isurrender hinted? :giggle: )

Everyone has his/her public in the end. Of course, I apologize for the repetition (@québecflower).

Thank you very much for your post Ernesto and please do post whenever you can. Every opinion is appreciated as long as it's done with respect!

I 100% agree with you here. There's a big difference between criticizing Celine, her show, and decisions she makes in a respectful way, and attacking people here on the forum. Of course it may be nice to only praise her, but it's a forum which is a platform for people to voice their opinions. Furthermore, it can be very insulting to shame people for criticizing the show if they haven't been to the show because personal reasons may make it impossible for these people to experience it. Respect should always be #1 and I think we must respect each other, as we are all on here on the forum for the same reason. Btw, I'll be live-streaming again tomorrow night, so feel free to tune into @thecelinecafe on Instagram! Edited by brendanm999

Everyone is entitled to their opinion here. But there's no need to repeat the same thing all the time and reply to all the posts that you don't agree with to keep pushing your SAME point of view down everyone's throat. That is also called respect.

Say it once, maybe respond once again for some EXTRA arguments. But learning when to stop is also respect towards the other members.

Peace & for 2018!

Everyone have opinions, but not many people moan the same things over and over again here, there and everywhere. That's why some people get respons, and some not.

Does anyone happen to know what time the gift shop opens and closes today? Is it even open on non-show days? Honestly don’t even remember if I’ve ever been over there on a day there isn’t a show, but would like to get some shopping in before tomorrow night if possible.

On show days it's open at 11:00am and on non show days it opens at noon! I found that out the hard way today. I got all ready to go at 11:00 and I ended up sitting under the Celine sign listening to her music for an hour lol. All By Myself. I got to rediscover my favorite songs all over again lol.
