Exactly. There is a time for niceties and then there's a time when she has to say that's enough. The woman humping her was that time!

 

Exactly! And that's the whole point out of it, the point that discredits any possible disgraceful story that the woman has behind. Whatever she's going through, was the humping needed? That's so vulgar, rude and totally uncalled for. The woman may be in need for help for her son, but she also needs a new brain.

So sorry you had to sit by them. Hope it didn't ruin it for you.

 

I was just glad the finally got her escorted out...the remaining four were a bit obnoxious, but I wasn't so worried about them. And really...the security were quite impressive. There were at least 8 people on this issue and yes the woman made it on stage due to Celine's allowing it, but they really were using their best judgement and watching out like hawks. Olivier was there and ready to kick some serious butt if necessary...but they all clearly HIGHLY respect Celine's judgement on things at the same time. It was painful and nerve wracking to witness...but I do believe Celine is in very good hands there. I think the humping was a BIT more than what Celine was anticipating...like someone else said, I sure hope her back was 100%!

 

Aside from the crazy start to the show, it was an incredible night. :wub:

she needs help. I understand what Celine did, but i would not want other people to take example. But many do things that are questionnable and lacking respect for Celine and others who pays to see the show. The guy who took 20 minutes to show Celine his song was not better , he lacked respect for the public.

What i loved is the fact that the bodyguards respect Celine and take their cues from her. Maybe next time , they should be more assertive.

I should also mention that the drunk woman was shouting out that she had just beat cancer and seeing Celine was in her bucket list. Truth or not I’m not sure, just what I heard coming from her mouth a few times.

I do wonder why he was there, I mean it's a case for the bodyguards but I guess this is when big brothers want to protect their little sis haha.

 

Celine has a good heart, that's obvious.

If feel sorry for the humping, that was sooo disrespectful, otherwise it was a just a drunk lady.

 

I wonder what she will think now she sees it back haha.

 

Celine handles it well, it just shows she is smart and knows how to handle this.

But for me, I wish they just picked her up and throw her out the venue.

 

But these accidents made it harder for us.

Not that I want to be next on stage, but she I guess she will 'think twice' on inviting people now

Drunk people... that’s why I don’t hang out with them.

Acting like this... that’s why I have never ever been drunk.

Not knowing what you have done the next day... that’s another reason I never drink beverages.

 

Not only do I wonder what she thinks now, when seeing this. Also do I wonder how embarrassed she’d be. Also do I wonder what everyone else in her neighbourhood thinks of her now. Her colleagues, her family, her friends (oh they were with her, being drunk? Ah well, they don’t think that much then...), the people in her hometown.... when she walks into the mall, being at the hairdresser’s, dentist, and so on... She’ll be a hot (negative-laden) topic for the coming days....

Think Celine handled it well, it looked like the woman would have gone off on one if the bodyguard got involved. Celine diffused the situation.

The way how Céline handles all of it is actually pretty funny ("look at me in the eyessssss"-looked like Kaa the snake from Jungle's Book :mdr:) but it was also scary for the crazy woman ("DON'T TOUCH ME!! :whee: )

 

And every time I hear the part of Céline saying "I'm glad you came up onstage with me" there's a part of me screaming Nooo Céline DON'T ENCOURAGE HERRRRR!!! :doh: :doh: :P

We regret to inform you that tonight’s performance (Saturday, January 6) of Céline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been cancelled. Céline is not feeling well and is on doctor’s orders to take tonight to rest.

 

Céline is expected to resume performances at The Colosseum as scheduled on Tuesday, January 9.

 

Céline Dion, Caesars Palace, and AEG Presents apologize for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders.

Oh no , I hope Celine is ok. No "fan" should jump on Celine , never mind her recent back injury , and I'm sorry , if that girl had cancer who jumped on Celine, the last thing she should be doing is drinking alcohol.................. :hmm: :pinch:

I Highly doubt is a back injury, the way it is written shes ill as in being sick. I dont think this has anything to do with the fan from last night

Normally they're quite specific what illness she has, but this time they're kinda vague..

 

More will be explained in due course, this is of course just being released

Gosh Celine was a trooper for sure. I can't believe I missed this show! I was two days away from this kind of action! Glad you enjoyed the show!! Now we're both post concert depression buddies lol.

OH MY GOD, I'm so sorry for the fans, who maybe had a very long trip, had booked hotels .... For 4 days to cancel the show, Celine has to go really bad. I hope it's not her back ... and I hope it's nothing really bad. Did she have signs of a cold or something similar last night?

No signs of any illness last night that I could tell.
