Im surprised that security didn t stop her from going any further then what she got , why couldn't they just stop her from going on stage,

it seemed that they were going to let her talk about organ donation/bone marrow for her son, so I guess that’s why they let her on.

This was hard to watch for me. Yes, Celine handled it well but I really wish she wasn't so nice sometimes and let her security handle these situations.

 

I mean, jeez, drunk or whatever, this woman is humping you on stage and you tell your security to get out and leave her alone.

 

Yes, that was the most disturbing part of the video- the lady humping Celine. But the way I read the body language of this lady when security touched her was “Get off of me!”. And I think she was ready to fight and in the shuffle, Celine may have been really hurt. And Celine noticed all this! That’s why she asked security to back down. Trying to calm the situation. Not the best move, but the smart one at that exact second.

i have seen a lot of his movies in the nineties, because my son was watching all the action movies with big guns.. :giggle:
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

Michel was more interesting on timings and the show not running over... remember behind the scenes of a new day dvd he had a right bee in his bonnet about her not being late to the stage lmao.

Celine handled the situation with class and dignity, however you could tell Michel had quite enough of it at the time when it seems he helped rush the woman off the stage.

 

Now, this may sound rude but I do not care what that woman's agenda or issues are; to rush the stage and act like she did is an absolute disgrace ( don't care if you're drunk or facing issues in life, learn to behave and respect yourself). I know Celine told security to back off a bit but when too far and for way too long. I'm certain there will be some security meetings about this incident to discuss how this happened and not to let it happen again.

I was surprised that security hadn’t warned Celine before the show started of what a huge problems was going on down in front. I mean they were dealing with this group of women for a good 20 minutes before the show started. I was so beyond stressed out sitting behind all of them. The woman drunkenly approached the stage, but it was definitely Celine that invited her up. Her heart is so big and she is so classy she just can’t help herself sometimes I think. They were very loud and acting up whenever security was talking to them so I think it did help to keep her calm and non violent the way Celine took charge...but yes...scares me to death. I think there were six of them I total, including this woman’s mom. All drunk, but the two worst were escorted out. God my heart was racing when all this happened.

I should also mention that the drunk woman was shouting out that she had just beat cancer and seeing Celine was in her bucket list. Truth or not I’m not sure, just what I heard coming from her mouth a few times.

Olivier can kck ten man all by himself... :wub: in this case it is because Celine was being too gracious, you can take the girl from Canada but not Canada from the girl. :)

Now that you say there were more like her, I reaffirm what I said first: embarrassing. Whatever the woman's story is behind. And again, that would have never gone that far in one of her tours. Simply because there's not a group of people that meets to see a CD concert and then get drunk together for the sake of it -_-

 

I have to disagree on that Javito, back in July there were a few drunk "fans" at the Birmingham show that I attended. Luckily for me, they were quite far from us.

 

But I totally get your point.

 

Yeah but not to the point of getting to and on the stage as if she was wandering her living room. That's the problem with the Vegas scenario, that one hour before they're splashing out in the slot machines while drinking and eating and one hour later they're watching a Céline Dion show, but some don't even know where they are :innocent:

Where were they seated during the show, and what were they doing that they got escorted out? Also, did the woman in the video (Barbara, I think her name is?) stay for the rest of the show, and go into the mosh pit? I'm sure security was freaking out.
