Ok but if you can get a fast word in please try. Cause you can't get a more direct answer then from Celine herself. I did read that even though she's supposed to be fast with these usually she's quite gracious and tries to listen to everyone. From the people I've spoken to it's usually them who freezes up and says nothing not Celine stopping the convo

 

P.S. sorry for messaging you too but I wanted to make sure you saw the message :) Anyways you know and I know you'll try your best so please do enjoy and again very happy for you.

If I were you I would just enjoy the moment! But keep your eyes peeled backstage. You may see Aldo, Scott, or Patrick for instance. It would probably be better to make any suggestions or requests to one of them, if you so wish.

Aw thank you! :flowers: :hug: I met Kelly Clarkson about 4 years ago and the meet and greet was supposed to go fast and they were rushing her and then I froze. Luckily my mom was there so she just started to say everything i wanted to tell Kelly. My mom was like " HI IM CHRISTINA'S MOM SHE LOVES U PLEASE COME TO VANCOUVER ETC" it was so funny she said it all in one big breath. So Kelly was like to security stop and she sat and chatted for 1 min and answered all my moms questions as fast as she could. So if you remember and want to I suggest you say everything as fast as possible and then enjoy and savor the rest of the moment

This is a very good idea I was about to say that too. If the meet and greet thing fails find Aldo or Patrick. Not sure how much Scott would know about dvd's but you could shoot him a few setlist requests

Ah ok thanks cause my mom had told me in June she had the far right little section guess they brought her in the middle now cause she's the one currently in residency

Wow how exciting! I missed the 1000th show by a week as I was in Vegas last week and got to see the show 3 times LOL. Have fun and share pics if you can. Can never get enough Celine.

You'd be surprised... with the right cast and book it could work. "Beautiful" the Carole King musical won Tony Awards, and "On Your Feet: The Gloria and Emilio Estefan Story" is doing quite well...

 

Just like Mamma Mia! No ABBA members, just ABBA's songs... And it was still on Broadway since last year ( began in 1999).

And now you can see all the Time in Stockholm next ton the ABBA MUSEUM. But now that's a show in a big restaurant, they are dancing and singing dancing queen while you're eating xD

Think about this with IACBTMN :'D

Tim, i think you can write all what you want to say to her on a card... let her read it or maybe her brother will read to her while she is in her dressing room. Write it briefly in point. Tell her our requested song that she has forgotten. And mention there that her team should read us in this forum too. I think this way will cover up if you stumble infront of her. You are so lucky.

If i follow correctly, he has gone in Vegas multiple times and really appreciate what she does, he is not supposed to follow every request. since he said he has this m and g, he received countless demands, just imagine what it is for Celine. He doesn't owe people anything, not more than Celine. And that fu... song from the bicentennial man, enough with that. It is not so good.

at 9:21 hear her talking about those chewed to exhaustion old tracks - she says :"she can't do a tour without these tracks, because the fans want it" It is about time they find out who the fans are. Are they some regular people who just know those tracks and don't have all of her albums, like we have, or we the fans - and if that is the case - no Celine - we are done with these songs. Seems like you are done with them too.. please please please skip them and do sing what you want to sing! Not what some bunch of regular (Vegas) fans want you to sing everytime over and over and over and over again!

I take for example Madonna. She knows which tracks the fans want to hear. But does she give them those everytime? No she takes her own decisions, and some songs might come back, but always in a reinvented version to make it connect with the rest of the setlist. But if Madonna would do that each time, her concerts would be boring. Everytime those same songs. It is not needed for Celine to bring only those songs all the time. We have had TPOL, IACBTMN, ABM, BYLM, RDMH, LCMM - and we heard them each concert, year after year after year. Mostly in the same shortened lipped versions and esspecially LCMM has moved its mountains way too long. It is getting a boring and Celine only improvises on it and it gets worse and worse and worse. So.. skip them please Celine. Enough other great songs.

Bring Think Twice back, bring A new day has come in the radio-edit back, full version of That's the way it is, heck bring Tell him on stage with Barbra on a screen or hologram, ...If she wants to do a third run in Vegas, okay, but then please shake up that list. Take away the lipped songs and you don;t have to sing All by myself anymore for that circusact of the high note. The lyrics are so not appropiate for your situation anymore. You don'thave to scream that you are all by yourself, because you have your family and us. So please put that song in a drawer and let it stay there.

 

Agree with you, and for sure she's talking about the 'fans' who might not even have an album... she should do like she did on this tour.. she took some risks brought back old tracks, ones that she never did live.. it was so good..
