LukeD Posted May 18, 2016 at 10:38 AM Posted May 18, 2016 at 10:38 AM It seems there's a permanent problem for some people in this forum regarding what should be an opinion and what not... ... said the person who wrote in BOLD that Alix Malka and Annie Horth should be listening to what HE has to say about fashion. Thing is some people know the difference between an opinion and an affirmative statement that defies reasoning. 3 Quote

Said someone who just loved a picture pretty much different from what Alix Malka has done in the last 2 photoshoots and said that he and Annie Horth should take that picture as an example on how to be creative and look different, young and still beautiful without wearing the most expensive fashion designs on her. AndI did not even entered in the fashion discussion, and I don't care the least. But I do know when I like a Celine picture after getting hundreds of the same black and white theme, posing in front of a plain, in-studio wall Edited May 18, 2016 at 11:44 AM by Javito Quote "Hush, now... You're absolutely correct, I could care less what you think of Celine's hair/clothes in an interview topic. Now if you'd wish to discuss her outfit elsewhere, the Celine Closet is a few clicks away. I have no idea why you discuss your negligence in keeping to the subject. Had you refrained from bringing up her ponytail, you could've saved these 20 minutes of time you wasted. Quote

NicoNV Posted May 18, 2016 at 01:01 PM Posted May 18, 2016 at 01:01 PM (edited) Wow... I really do respect her immensely for talking about this so bluntly. There's absolutely nothing glamorous about being a caregiver to someone who's so ill and she's really shedding light on what that means. Haters gonna hate but I think it's really great and brave that she's talking about this. http://www.parismatc...a-la-vie-971170 I do not have time to clean it up, so it will still say things like "her" instead of "him" and have some other minor issues (I just used Google translate, but I didn't have time to go back in and clean up pronoun problems, etc). But, I wanted to post it so that other people did not have to keep translating. It's all sad, and all too familiar for anyone who ever loved someone who experienced this horrible disease. Google translation from the Paris Match article quoted above (not in full, really just the opening, and then the questions. I did not do all of the intro). For Rene, I take interest in life In the taxi takes me to Las Vegas, the driver wonder about the purpose of my presence in Sin City. I pronounce the name of Celine Dion. He stares at me in the rearview mirror, "When it is absent, the strip has a hangover. She is the queen here. We are so sad what happens to him! " On 14 January, were you next to René?Celine Dion. René wanted to die in my arms, but, alas, I sang that night. He died on the night of January 13 to 14. He had to want to get up and fell to the ground. Normally after my show, when he took his medication later, I went to kiss him the border, and he fell asleep. That night, I did not want to wake him. The nurse who found him the next day panicked, and she picked me. I entered the room. I closed the door behind me and I called the doctor, I had to comfort her. "René suffers no more is better and" Later, the doctor found that there was no fracture or injury or hematoma, that obsessed me. I obviously warned René-Charles. He preferred to keep a good image of his dad alive. Then I waited for the coroner. There are three years, Rene gave me a bear with a big red heart, I placed under his head. I put her bathrobe and talked to him at length: "I'm fine, go in peace, that is enough to suffer." I told him not to worry about the children. You're dead or alive? Get up and live! Tell us about the last months ...My mourning began when the disease took hold. I became fully responsible for his life, even in the most intimate moments. I helped her take a shower and brush your teeth, I accompanied him to the toilet ... For him it was a challenge to his male pride. Some days he felt very bad, he had no desire to fight. Sometimes I was a little abrupt with him, I said: "You're dead or alive? Get up and live! " No one could do this, because nobody loved her as much as me. I collected all his will, I have a will to lighten her heart. Towards the end, we watched TV shows and we laughed a lot. l liked me to come take my morning coffee with him. Then I returned to work. He stopped eating, swallowing essentially drugs. I said: "Take pictures, watch children swim, the sun that comes from outside." But he had the strength. And since his death, you have chosen silence?I especially thrown into the job in preparing my French album. No question of silence, but on the contrary of being overactive: I was on stage a month after the death of Rene. I wanted to show my children that they could count on me, this incredible force inside me. I was the mother hen who takes care of everything from home as their occupations, so they are very active. Pool, puzzles, art, finger painting, they did everything. I especially wanted them to have fun. Nelson wants to learn piano; Eddy, do gymnastics. This week I've registered for free sessions in each of these areas. Edited May 18, 2016 at 01:05 PM by NicoNV 6 Quote

yellowrose14 Posted May 18, 2016 at 03:36 PM Posted May 18, 2016 at 03:36 PM That Paris Match interview is so raw and illuminating. I have to say that it really makes me feel for Rene. I am sure if you asked him now when he is in a far better place, he would say that he always felt Celine's love in her exhortations to him, but it must have been so hard for him to rise above the pain ( I can't imagine this at all), the loss of function, and worry over his family exhausting themselves to be "strong" and appreciate life when life was so altered. It also so honest for Celine to admit the true difficulties of an illness that goes on for years. I have ongoing and past experiences of variants of this and it does make me feel that Celine has an understanding of others. So, I can say that her speaking out does help me. Others may also feel this, as well. 5 Quote
