Agreed.

Julie's fun and certainly close enough to Celine to make her comfortable being silly on camera, but she's more of an entertainer than a journalist in my eyes, with a certain "valley girl" approach, so to speak.

I don't know Marie-Claude Barrette per se, but get the sense she has a little more substance.

 

Truth be told, I'd like to see Denise Bombardier do this. Her A Coeur Ouvert interview from several years ago is one of the best out there. She really got a lot out of Celine in that conversation and it's the most introspection I've ever seen from Celine in an interview. (I'm actually reading her book l'Anglais at the moment, which is all about how she met her husband. Quite a sweet love story; amused to find they got engaged at Luc Plamondon's flat in Dublin!)

I asked the same lady who answered my tweet last week (that the interview would be taking place within two weeks) about some news and she has just answered that the interview will be recorded next week. Hopefully, she'll say more next week No date for broadcast still

Marie-Claude is not afraid to ask questions good ones and hard ones . But she is kind also, and can be funny when it is time. Very intelligent, she's got intellectual +emotionnal very balanced. and she is from a simple background, not snob. I think it will be a great interview.
