her answers are ready, and we will hear them whatever the questions. She is like a politician. Well, we will see. :)

 

What makes you think that it will be the says robo answers. Did you not watch the funeral? The women was devestated! Her own mother said she had a hard time holding it together. The pictures they released you can see her eyes still look sad. But like everyone else she is carrying on. I was there in Vegas the night of her return on the 23. I can tell you that she was very much emotional. But like all you have keep going. That's what Rene would have wanted. She is doing that. I think the the interviews are going to very hard for her.

well, it would be a first, and i don't doubt she is devastated, and it is not her style to overdo it when she has true and raw emotions, this is why she has to prepare herself. If she wants to keep certain things private, good for her, i don't want to know everything. I didn't say she will give robo answers, nor did i say that i don't believe her deep sadness, if you want to imagine things, what can i do?.

you see what happens when she is not prepared... :giggle: but it was great to show her true self, but she got ridiculed by a lot of people for it.

I loved her Larry King interview. And I won't mind if she isn't prepared. It'll be much better than when hosts asked her to do vocal warm-ups!

it would be best, but i won't mind if she prepares herself, i would understand totally.

Yes, it's not that her emotions aren't real and true - it's that she will have thought about what she wants to say and the message she wants to share, and that's what she'll say regardless of what questions are asked. It's the way she's always dealt with sharing her life with the public, and it makes sense for her.

I agree with that. You know that they are going to ask the dumb questions! Was she there when it happened? Did she fulfill his final wish? I'm mean how much do we want to know. She is continuing on for him but what else do we really want to know?

It will be interesting to see if they use any of the questions! I didn't put a question but asked that they let Céline know we continue to send her prayers and happy thoughts and that we will continue to support her no matter what she does :)

Oprah would have been divine. I miss their interviews. I miss Oprah altogether -- but I'm happy for this new chapter in her career/life.

 

At least they really respect Celine at GMA. Robin Roberts is a big fan and has voiced her respect for Celine.

 

I just hope it's an honest, simple interview.

 

It's amazing that Celine is continuing on like she is. Very proud of her.

Oprah is very good, but can overact sometimes too. Her interviews are nice but sometimes she follows the script too much and it looks forced.

 

I think Céline needs to be available to everyone that wants to chat with her genuinely. Good to see she's going to GMA :)

GMA. Those interviews are always so light and don't ask good questions. There will be a blurb that shows her singing TPOL, MHWGO (from A New Day...)and the gist will be that Celine says things are different.

There. Now pay me.

At least there is an interview.... My only hope is they give her a lot of time on the show....

 

It has been so long since her last English detailed interview! Kinda sad about this as I know it's going to be cut to pieces

Thats not the place for such interview!

I really hoped Oprah, sort of what she did with Whitney back then.

 

Somehow fresh interviewers can be good, but with this topic i don't understand why they didnt push for Julie and Oprah, because they have been a combination for years

I'm gutted we're not getting an Oprah interview. I really wanted a serious, heartfelt and revealing interview with someone Celine feels totally comfortable with. She's known Oprah for 20 years!

I for one am happy that the interview won't be long and detailed. Celine doesn't need to be answering a million personal questions about Rene and how her and her family are doing right now. Maybe in a few years when Celine has had more time to heal over her grief.

 

At the moment, I just don't feel right about seeing her in pain and having to answer difficult personal questions. I think that GMA is perfectly fitting for the time being.

Well maybe they'll be a full length interview with Oprah next year when the english album is released. Think that would have more impact and better publicity for the album. After all, it's a french album and European tour. Makes sense having Oprah and Co for the english release.

We've still got (hopefully) more in depth french interviews to look forward to.

Really hate it when interviews are edited and shown over several days etc. Drives me mad. Especially when you look at the clock and after all of it the interview is only 5 minutes long. Just interview her then air it. Not difficult is it!
