I was watching the Millenium Concert the other night and thought it would be great if she'd go back to a French acoustic medley. She could make the current medley longer and add 3 French songs, or do 2 separate medley's, one English and one French. The songs are so shortened it wouldn't take much longer.

That's one thing I've been wanting is the French acoustic medley :)

it's pretty the same effects as celine ,maybe celine is better having the water thing at the end ,but the one that is really entertaining is shania twain show ,they really give it so much attention and effects,celine and maraiah use the same ideas in different ways

 

Are you serious, just open your ears.... it's a disaster. Mariah can have all what she wants in term of effects, but it's only to hide the bad shape of her voice...

They should focus to help her voice...how is it possible to sing like this, she lost her credibility in term of voice.

there is so much to see, people can barely hear, too much senses sollicitation.
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

I know this is semi OT but I was about to look at some pics from the show on Instagram but what the heck happened to all the photos from these two locations were they wiped??? These two had the most pics

I think we may have a new costume soon as I think Annie has been to NYFW.

 

I doubt we will get any new songs as Celine would have no time to rehearse being in Boston, but I bet Aldo has the orchestra and band rehearsing a new song or two which may make an appearance in the next leg of shows after this coming leg, but then again never under estimate Celine she may find time in Boston to rehearse.

 

All those notes aldo has been seen making will obviously come to something! :)

I think there could have been better clips used for some notes, but those G5s on Purple Rain are simply astounding. As good and strong as any she has ever done in her career, and I cannot imagine anyone else her age hitting those notes! Mariah could never.

I agree! But she did have some great points. The song starting at 1 hour 21 minutes, she performs quite well! Still not sure that I would pay the ticket price to see her show.

I have never been a fan of Mariah so maybe my point of view is not very objective...

 

I looked through the video different songs, and I thought, "OMG the setting, background, pictures and lightings are just too much !" We focus on that instead of focusing on her song and her voice !"

This is why I love Celine, because you come to see and to hear the singer, not the artificial technological things

Yes but celines voice blended well with it.... Big voice + big production.... Worked well

Celine's taken care of her voice. More disciplined than MC etc. Which is surprising as MC'S mum was/is an opera singer. Always thought her voice would continue because of her mum etc. Just goes to show....

In fact of all the singers who are in the bizz only Celine still got THE VOICE :) She has always been more disciplined, remember those days when she doesn't spoke at all etc Edited by Manila

Yes, I think she did (and still does) it with pure passion and love, and not just because of money.

I wonder if they could install the fire things like with USF?? They could do Terre or maybe Adele's Set Fire to the Rain, since Celine has a lot of fun doing Adele!

I read something on Twitter by someone doesn't seem so reliable but it says that "Celine will cancel ALL SHOWS until June 9th." ??

 

Like I said I doubt it's true but who knows, I just hope that all is well with Renè and that its just a rumor.

Well they only announced the first leg with shows till January 17th... so I don't think we have to worry :)
