celine4evauk Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:19 AM Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:19 AM Why do you think of My Way? I think it is more likely that it will be the song they did together, It's hard to say goodbye. I wouldn't mind this song actually, but I wonder why they don't want to stick to IICD with Elvis since it is a uplifting, nice song Maybe they're thinking of next year's run rather than this year? I'm all for changing a few things every so often. Think I'd rather have (oonce IICD has had a decent run) would be to have TH as a hologram duet. Keep Immortality but just have video and visuals.
CelineDionFreak Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:40 AM Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:40 AM What about Have You Ever Been in Love for the show? I've always thought, that for the elegance of this show, it would work. I'd love to see it eventually. 1 I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
chocolatechip15 Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:41 AM Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:41 AM Yes I agree with you. I don't know if people got that I was being sarcastic about the "lipping" the whistle part?? It was pure sarcasm! I had had enough with all the, 'she's using playback', and 'she's lipping this note', and 'she moved this way so it's fake'Besides, don't you see all the little " :P :P " smiley face thingys? LOL, when I read your post, I wanted to say something like, "Erm, I never heard of lips getting tired from a 3 second whistle," but I didn't want to be snarky. I had no idea you werent serious but now it makes me laugh! 3

I want to go back so bad...... Edited September 22, 2015 at 11:56 AM by DionFanAlways 4 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
couldawouldashoulda Posted September 22, 2015 at 01:50 PM Posted September 22, 2015 at 01:50 PM I don't want to be rude but I'm amazed how everybody loves to kill the magic of the show... Playback (exact verses/notes), outfits, fake whistles... Unbelievable! Thank God you love Celine! PS: When you are seating there enjoying the show you really don't care about that... oh and she shines like a star and looks stunning with all the dresses. Speak for yourself. When I'm sitting there enjoying the show, I absolutely do care about that. It may be because I'm also an actor and a singer, but I absolutely sit there wondering if she's lipping or singing live. I can usually tell when I'm at the show. The sound of her voice coming out of the sound system sounds different when the track comes on. It may just be my professional ear, and other people can't notice, but to me it's crystal clear and I cringe a little bit because I'm afraid that suddenly everyone else will figure it out. 2
québecflower Posted September 22, 2015 at 02:16 PM Posted September 22, 2015 at 02:16 PM  lolNope pure sarcasm on my part. I'm tired of the issue, lipping this lipping that..... I am in love with this show! I want to go back so bad......lipping a whistle is real funny when you think about it :sofunny: 5 Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

Shamrock_1982 Posted September 22, 2015 at 06:27 PM Posted September 22, 2015 at 06:27 PM They need to let the audience know that a DVD is being filmed and they plan it well in advance because sometimes they need to use/take seats out for certain camera views and angles... And something tells me maybe early 2016 when they are happy with the setlist and how it's finally presented! 2

Nah, it just comes with the business. Pretty much every actor or singer (notice I say "pretty much every", not every single one, but most) does the same thing. We're so used to analyzing everything as part of the job that we never really turn it off and just enjoy anything. We're always breaking it down/studying it. A con of the job. Shame, I actually feel sorry for you, and please I'm not being mean to you. Must be terrible to go to a show and just look for criticism, and not be able to just relax and enjoy the show. Especially it being Celine. For me, it's so what, I couldn't care less, because Celine always tries her best, so that would be more than good enough for me. Sharon 3

Sometimes, I do wish I could just enjoy a show - whether it be TV, movie, stage, concert. It's been over 20 years since that happened though so I don't even remember what that's like at this point! LOL And don't feel too sorry for me - I'm not fleeing Syria or anything. 2
Tyler1991 Posted September 23, 2015 at 03:50 PM Posted September 23, 2015 at 03:50 PM I think the most annoying thing about a playback discussion is that for every 1 post someone makes about playback in the show, there are at least 3 posts essentially "bashing" the post, complaining about it being brought up,the usual same thing.... honestly, the way I see it if celine chooses to use it in her show, that is fine, but it does open that door for discussion considering it is a relevant element of the show. 6
CelineIloilo Posted September 23, 2015 at 05:30 PM Posted September 23, 2015 at 05:30 PM Ok back to what was mentioned earlier. I believe "It's hard to say goodbye is the new change we're going to see next in the show. I'm happy because this song is so under-rated and this is yet exquisite vocal rendition of celine. What do you think guys? 1 CELINE DION IS THE BEST. THE ONE, THE ONLY, PERFECTION.

ryba Posted September 23, 2015 at 07:49 PM Posted September 23, 2015 at 07:49 PM (edited) I would love to see Goodbye's (the saddest word) in the show. it would sound so amazing with this big orchestra, and I can imagine it with red colour visuals, very classy and with chandeliers coming down etc. as an hommage to her mother, with videos of Maman Dion and the twins and the family. I would love that instead of TFTEISYF, which she sings well, but it is very slow and kind of boring Edited September 23, 2015 at 07:50 PM by ryba
