Well they only announced the first leg with shows till January 17th... so I don't think we have to worry :)

 

I just hope Rene is well and this trip to Boston will help everyone's spirit. I'm praying for them, and for Cèline to return with something positive.

Like I said I doubt it's true but who knows, I just hope that all is well with Renè and that its just a rumor.

 

 

I'm pretty sure that was from 2012 when she was sick and lost her voice and had to cancel a few months like Feb-June. I had tickets for March and I remember that she didn't come back until June. Don't think this is new.

I wonder if they could install the fire things like with USF?? They could do Terre or maybe Adele's Set Fire to the Rain, since Celine has a lot of fun doing Adele!

 

Not allowed in the Colosseum. Shania Twain always uses fire/pyro in her shows, but couldn't in The Colosseum.

Oh ok. Didn't know that. Makes sense though since it's a smaller venue and it's closer. That makes a lot of sense, actually.

I do wish they'll eventually have some costumes like the white Elie Saab jumpsuit and the ivory Atelier Versace dress- both from the Bercy shows. :)

I don't know for sure but I believe the whistle just may be lipped????? I am definitely no music expert or anything like that but I think she is trying to get away with something here! Maybe she's trying to save her lips, you know, having to do that night after night might be stressful on the lips. If there are any experts out there please weigh in on this trickery from Celine. :P :P :P :P :P

where is that whistle.. i wanted to see what you are talking about.. but all I see and hear is the end of mr paganini ( i suppose).. no whistle..

hmm.... ok, when she puts her hand up to her mouth, she is "whistling" *wink wink* then she smiles at that audience and then goes back to the band.

Yeah it's not celine whistling! Or at least not live. It's either celine prerecorded or someone else in the band etc live or on the track. Celine just imitates the whistle.

It is so refreshing and great to see her sooooo into this song. (even though not hers) I love this clip! (still not crazy about her "guitar" solo :mellow: )

But it's Prince's Purple Rain and she's so into it.

I don't want to be rude but I'm amazed how everybody loves to kill the magic of the show... Playback (exact verses/notes), outfits, fake whistles... Unbelievable! Thank God you love Celine!

 

PS: When you are seating there enjoying the show you really don't care about that... oh and she shines like a star and looks stunning with all the dresses.

I doubt they're from a DVD filming. The clip of Incredible and another one of River Deep, Mountain High were shown during this recent interview on TF1, so my guess is that they were filmed during the opening night for the press and promotional stuff. I think they film every show like this.

If that means it will look more real... Than yes! But to be honest i dont like it.

It looks fake and 3 holograms is just too much.

 

I rather see the visuals of The Reason coming back... I LOVED that!

And if she wants to do a hologram there is only 1 duet I love to see come back in her show,

 

Tell Him with Barbra Streisand...

 

Record it again in studio together, use thay footage for the Barbra part.

Ohh if only!

I wish that they'd record this DVD while her voice is well rested and the fans, in the shows are true fans.., the longer they wait the more chance old gamblers with comped tickets from playing poker will be in the front rows. I hope they don't mute the audience applause and interaction during this DVD when recorded like they did with AND, when they audience claps during parts like the big note during ABMS we should hear it not just see people look like they are chearing and nothing's coming out!

Yes I agree with you. I don't know if people got that I was being sarcastic about the "lipping" the whistle part?? It was pure sarcasm! I had had enough with all the, 'she's using playback', and 'she's lipping this note', and 'she moved this way so it's fake'

Besides, don't you see all the little " :P :P :P :P :P " smiley face thingys? :) :giggle:

Why do you think of My Way? I think it is more likely that it will be the song they did together, It's hard to say goodbye. I wouldn't mind this song actually, but I wonder why they don't want to stick to IICD with Elvis since it is a uplifting, nice song Edited by ryba
