On a complete side note anybody got the number of the new guitar player. He is quite a piece of eye candy in my opinion.

I have to tell ya, I love this segment of the show. It is kind of sad, to me at least, that she always has to tell the audience to get up and dance with her. Of course that wasn't the case opening night and Saturday night but it has become the typical Vegas audience in that regard. I guess they just don't think it's a "concert" but think it's a show? It's a different mentality?

I do find it cute that she likes the cell phone lights! "You got some lights for me tonight!?" :wub: (3:23ish)

Nothing new. Just about singing TFTEISYF while video of Rene is showing,wants to die in her arms,not wanting to start the shows again but Rene wants her to etc.

As much as I love seeing Celine number 1,looking at this its hard to compare really. I mean, Celine did loads of shows compared to others where it was 1 or 2. But then you have to consider the venue size and ticket prices. It's a bit misleading if you just look at part of it.

Great she's back though. This time next week!

For somoene who does only 20 shows in a year and for a first residency, it's really bad, I mean, she comes with her 18 #1's....and and even the first night was not sold out. So, Céline with 930 shows in Vegas, is still the best headliner, even far better than Brithney, 10 000 tickets were not sold for the last run ... 10 000 !

Considering it's 4000 seats, fans come to her, and there's no promotion, that's very good figures and very successful. Especially when she does as many shows as she does. That's loads on top of loads.

Technically, just because every ticket wasn't sold, doesn't mean it wasn't sold out. Actually, technically it does mean that, but there's certain benchmarks usually that are set to equate an sold out show. If i remember correctly, Also said they sold out 9 shows before opening night's performance.

 

7/10 is actually really good considering the circumstances. Fans travel, ticket prices, no promotion, etc.

 

She's doing exceptionally well.

I can't wait until she comes back! :clap: We have been spoiled lately with pictures and video footage. I will be happy to have that back again. Can't wait to see meet and greet pics! :-D

Also can't wait to find out how Rene is doing. Hope there will be good news!

Sold out or not, it's the total figure ($$$) that really matters... and that's what is used for the Boxscore.

If you can sell $500 tickets, it sure helps. But not many performers can actually pull that off.

Céline is doing very well. :-D

Yay Celine! Way to go girl! Just got my ticket for November and there were not many left in the orchestra like less than 5. Absolutely can't wait. Wondering if we will see any changes happen during the short breaks in between?

So it's official I'm going to see her on November 7th and my seats are in the 2nd mezz 7.(luckily we're in the first row of our section so fingers crossed that it's not too bad) I went for cheaper tix this time cause I'm also going to see Britney the night before so it's gonna cost me alot plus I saw her super close up the first time.
