Brandon Posted December 1, 2015 at 11:51 PM Posted December 1, 2015 at 11:51 PM I don't think it would be bad to have L'hyme à l'amour on the new French album. Céline sang it before and she can still sing it in the future (and not necessarily because of the Paris tragedy). It could be about René as well... Singing it about Rene and he's not even dead yet? That would be a bit morbid lol Quote https://media.giphy....zviuO/giphy.gif

Brandon Posted December 1, 2015 at 11:55 PM Posted December 1, 2015 at 11:55 PM (edited) yes , on 1 hour 30 minutes , we should have at least one or two minutes of new stuff...but those minutes are precious, rarity means quality . haha funny. 2 minutes of new stuff should be about right. Boy Posted December 2, 2015 at 10:59 PM Posted December 2, 2015 at 10:59 PM I'm very happy for the winner, this is a great chance really to have your song sung by Celine, but yet if I had the chance to pick the one, I'd pick the song of Julien Assayah 'Je te donnerai tout'. My boyfirend who doesn't give a thing for Celine was just fooling aroung while I was into the process of listening to all the vote for songs and I really liked that song by Julien Assayah and it was the very same moment when my boyfriend happened to be somewhere close and he was like 'i love the song, what's that?'. He never even knew it was a poll for a new Celine sung song. Quote Love comes to those who believe it...
Angel2006 Posted December 3, 2015 at 07:34 AM Posted December 3, 2015 at 07:34 AM Congratulations to the writer of the winning song. It wasn't my first choice because as I have written many times already on this forum, I really wanted either, Comment savoir or Frere et soeur de son to win. I'm sure I will love the song once I hear the final product and with Celine's vocals attached to it! I wonder if any of those other songs will make it onto the album though? I would love to hear Comment savoir or Frere et soeur de son. Maybe, depending on how close the votes were, maybe they will decide to add 1 or 2 more songs of those unknown songwriters to the album. It would be nice if her team let another unknown songwriter's name be attached to the new album. I think there are a couple other songs from those demos that had potential. I guess we will have to wait and see what her team decides to do with those remaining songs. Quote

Loup_garou Posted December 8, 2015 at 02:53 PM Posted December 8, 2015 at 02:53 PM Grand Corps Malade a écrit pour CélineDeux de ses textes se retrouveront sur le prochain album de la diva Google translate: Grand Corps Malade has written for CelineTwo of his texts will end up on the Diva's next album Grand Corps Malade wrote texts for the new album of Celine Dion. Two were selected and the French slammer can not wait to hear his prose to be sung by the Quebec diva, he told when he was in Québec City for a show at the Theatre du Petit-Champlain.It is not, however, a new experience for Grand Corps Malade. He wrote the lyrics of the song The sea and the child that is found on the disk Sans Attendre Celine, launched in 2012. "She liked it and asked me to work with her again. I wrote three texts and the two that were selected were set to music by Florent Mothe and another team of composers, "he said on the sidelines of a series of three concerts in the Old Capital . Grand Corps Malade heard the music that will accompany his lyrics, but without the voice of Celine. "I expect the touching moment when we will send me the songs sung by Celine and where it will take a whole new dimension," said he said. Fabien Marsaud (Grand Corps Malade) enjoys writing for people who are different from what it is. "Put yourself in the shoes of Celine Dion is not something obvious. I am a man and she is a woman. We did not grow up in the same place and it has not experienced the same things. She lives between Las Vegas and I do not know where and I'm in Paris. Everything separates us and yet when I tell my little stories that can touch and can appropriate them, "he said, without disclosing the themes of his lyrics. A divaGrand Corps Malade qualifies Quebec singer of "star" absolute. "This is one of the biggest stars in the world. It's a diva. Not in the pejorative sense, but in class terms. She filled the Caesars Place in Las Vegas for years with incredible performances and has sold millions of albums on both sides of the Atlantic. You can love or not love what it does, but you can not miss and you can not deny that this is an incredible singer and performer, "said he dropped. Upon completionGrand Corps Malade does not expect to start writing and producing a new album before 2017.The year 2016 will be devoted to co-directing a film based on his book Patients, where he tells his recovery in a rehabilitation center for severely disabled as a result of an accident where he almost lost the use of his legs. A feature that coréalisera Medhdi with Idir, who realizes his videos. "I just had to write the script. I wrote each scene and it is very complicated to give the script to someone and tell him to go do his film. This is a new adventure and it excites me. I'm not a director, I am aware of my limitations and that's why I chose to do it with someone who has the trade. That's reassuring, "he said. Grand Corps Malade occurs Tuesday night at Theatre Petit Champlain in Quebec and Thursday at the Théâtre Saint-Denis in Montreal 2. 4 Quote
Brandon Posted December 8, 2015 at 10:40 PM Posted December 8, 2015 at 10:40 PM About the only place to buy her French albums in the US is her Vegas store or ordering one from Amazon. Most people in the US do not think about her Francophone career or discuss it (and the average person has no clue she was basically a child star. They know she started young, but do not really get the level of success she had so quickly). It's really too bad. Her Francophone career is legendary. I wish the US took more notice of it. In the beginning of having both careers, the choice was deliberate. It gave her more freedom to start in the English market. No images were really associated with her. A blank slate. Who knows why it continued. I am sure it was thought out. But I still wish her French albums were easier to get here (iTunes has almost nothing). Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI agree. Most people in the US don't know much about the early success she had in her French career. At 13 years old she was already making $100,000 per year. That's more than anyone on this forum makes as an adult, or more than the average adult salary in USA, during their entire life time. And that was only when she was a kid At 19 years old for example, Mariah was bussing tables in a restaurant. 2 Quote https://media.giphy....zviuO/giphy.gif

zuv Posted December 11, 2015 at 09:11 PM Posted December 11, 2015 at 09:11 PM we've been talking about her new coach and how it may be very effective for her voice. I wish Jean-Jacques Goldman would be her private vocal coach during the recording of the French album. Apparently he's not scared of offending her if he says something negative about her voice. At least i hope he works with her in studio for the song he wrote. 4 Quote

If she records this song, I'd love it just for the Dutch connection There's one error in the article though... Josh was on virtually the next train to Paris to lay down the vocals and guitar tracks. The song is now rigorously going through completion and post-production stages, ready to be presented to Céline Dion's management and her record label, Warner, for a chance to be selected for the Canadian star's future album. Quote
