jpatdeleon09 Posted August 20, 2016 at 02:50 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 02:50 AM Ordinaire. (as in... bombastic like TSMGO, not bad production) The production is really, really good. As far we could hear this one time though lol Thank God! I thought i will hear TSMGO part 2. Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted August 20, 2016 at 03:26 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 03:26 AM “It’s very hard to explain what it’s like to see my husband die, every day in front of my eyes, and then go in the kitchen to try and make meatballs, or play hide-and-seek with my kids, then go back and see my husband die even more,” she says. This part is just heartbreaking in its simplicity. It's one of the most raw/honest moments in an interview since Rene died -- one of the few times where she's not putting some sort of positive spin on it, but acknowledging the hardship. I would not have expected that to happen in the New York Post! (For those who are not from NY, the Post is a tabloid-ish paper; some legit news coverage, but known for sensationalist headlines. Though I do remember at least one nice interview they had with Celine in the 90s also). 3 Quote
MTJ Posted August 20, 2016 at 03:30 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 03:30 AM Carol never wrote TR as a duet Have you listened to the alternate version from Carole's CD? There is no booklet in the LP version.. I'm sure there will be a thin booklet, as with the LMBTL LP, with some photos and song credits. I don't know if this is against the forum rules, but would someone mind downloading the THV lyric video, and sharing it with the people in the US who can't view it? We would love it if you could! Frozen_Phoenix Posted August 20, 2016 at 05:57 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 05:57 AM Thank God! I thought i will hear TSMGO part 2. What's so bad about its production? I mean I don't like the song but the production and the instrumentalization itself seems quite good to me. isurrender Posted August 20, 2016 at 06:26 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 06:26 AM I always skip Que toi au monde (actually the only song I skip in Sans attendre, next with La mer et l'enfant). I think I have listened it in full only 3 times since the album was released. Can't believe this song came from Mr Luc Plamondon Luc Plamondon always had awkward lyrics. I mean more straight forward and beside some songs, he doesn't use metaphors or whatsoever ... Des mots qui sonnent, Le fils de Superman.. he writes the way we talk. "Je n'ai que toi aussi monde" is one of them. And I think that " qu'est-ce que tu as fait de tes bras " is soooo badly written but at the same time, it's not an image... it was done on purpose to strike people is my guess. I don't like this song but it was quite "ballsy". Art is not always perfect. Artistry means also taking side Quote

No there isn't...I had the LP in my hands. The song credits are on the inside of the LP and the lyrics are on the covers of each LP case. And the CD is in a cardsleeve in one of the LP cases. celinesounds Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:10 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:10 AM The lyrics video of TH20 is so much better than EUS lyrics video, shame the 80's version get so much attention while there is an album coming out 2 Quote #FREEJAVITO
Moleque20 Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:10 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:10 AM Well. We will hold the album in our hands in 6 days. Leaks or not, it doesn't matter anymore 2 Quote Les étoiles tombent une à une. Mes émois sont de saturne.
ryba Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:12 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:12 AM It's weird that they promote the new album with THV, a 30 year old song. They even make an effort to produce a lyric video for it! Why not releasing a new second single? 3 Quote
Peppercorn1991 Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:29 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 10:29 AM Or release the Music Video!!! I'm pretty sure that's coming out release day now! Kev. Quote

They even make an effort to produce a lyric video for it! Why not releasing a new second single? Because the song is one of the most meaningful songs for Céline. The album has been introduced with a new song and before the release they introduce THV - they are all about René, now and before. It is a journey. For me the whole thing is so touching, so CélineThe full promo with the new songs will come later, in due time.Until now I think everything is perfect. 2 Quote
Moleque20 Posted August 20, 2016 at 11:22 AM Posted August 20, 2016 at 11:22 AM I DO like 3h20. Really. But I would prefer a fresh uptempo song as the second single. At least a fresh one. Neither Ordinaire or 3h20. 1 Quote Les étoiles tombent une à une. Mes émois sont de saturne.

LVCeline Posted August 20, 2016 at 02:51 PM Posted August 20, 2016 at 02:51 PM One thing I've just noticed after watching that video (well the first 45 seconds, I stopped so I didn't spoil it) is that she mentioned during the making of the Let's Talk About Love album she didn't like to practice or rehearse a song too much before recording, but you'll notice in recent years, going back to Taking Chances, she'll sit there and listen to a demo tape and mimic the exact way to sing the song. It's apparent in this video and the one that comes to mind most is Map to My Heart. She was coached on how to sing a certain phrase too in Surprise, Surprise. Is this typical for artists who don't write their own material? To copy the demo basically? 1 Quote
