I mean, she closes her eyes during other "not so hard", I wouldn't know because I can't sing, but they don't seem that hard, notes... If she just kept everything she does the same, then we could only go by the sound, which depending on the source, can be difficult sometimes. And MHWGO in Vegas and a lot of times during "big" notes, she'll tilt her head and swing her arm. She's so obvious but I her. I don't love it, but I do agree that lipsyncing has probably kept her voice from going - not completely gone, but certainly better than it would have been... that's what I think. She is known for her on stage antics of punching herself and karate kicking and weird things like that....she adds alot of that into her lipped performances. Only problem is some things she doesn't add (like closing her eyes)....and then then there are unnecessary things added too (jaw)... For a regular fan, you wouldn't know if it was live or not. Having said that, it is not so easy to tell whether or not she lips by what you hear. If you close your eyes and only listen to her, you can't always tell whether it's live or not. You guys are right: The average fan does not know that she lips a few songs. My friend (and she is a very big Celine fan but not totally fannatic and crazy like us) she believes till this day that Celine sings every song live and that she has never lipped in her life. One day I asked her if she thinks that Celine sometimes lips, and she asked me if I'm crazy... She said that there is no way that she can lip because of the way the muscles in her neck moves and stuff. I was thinking to myself: don't let that fool you... I just said: ''Yeah, you are probably right...'' I will never tell her that she lips some songs. I still say why do you want to know it. She does it and so what, but I don't want to know exactly when and where and why. With technology these days, I wouldn't doubt they all use it to some degree, and Celine may sing live alot, but I bet she has used, or uses some support on her songs." and I was like *MOM I NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT CELINE* because I knew Celine was, but I didn't think mom knew, and she didn't really, but it's smart to think that maybe someone has support and it makes sense to have support. And of course, I lightened up on on the imperfect angel and all that, because I should be nice. I am not upset or dissapointed at Celine at all because she still has IT and she still shows IT off when it comes down to.. IT. hahaha Anyway, she's amazing. And Ha-Ha Tyler. I'v graduated. I just love how even when she's lipping she's like so passionate about it, and is really trying to make it look like she's actually singing. Haha she's definatly got the whole lipping thing down. Just after Celine left SA last year a DJ on one of our local radio stations started telling this story about a women who shoplifts and then hides the items in her pants and clothes and then she started going on about how Celine would never be able to shoplift because she has nowhere to hide the stuff. She is always going on about how Celine is so tiny that she could go anywhere or how she can't understand where Celine gets the power from to produce some notes because she is so tiny. On a different note: One time after they played WDMHBN, the same DJ siad: ''In the middle of your chest, a little to the left, Celine'' It was so funny... She then went on explaining where your heart is located, but as if Celine is there in the studio with her. You can hear Celine sing 'Anymo', then stopping and opening her eyes as she knows the playback has started, Celine was obviously prepared to sing the entire high note live in case the playback failed again like what happened earlier with I Drove All Night, but then knew she could stop once she actually heard it had started... Gosh that is actually quite noticeable! its totally obvious after you explained and then i watched it! I still feel so sorry for her what happened in "i drove all night" like seriously, how scary must that have been when the play back didnt kick in, you can tell she was shitting a brick!!
