We'll see about "Text For You" but this is some of the best emotive acting I've ever seen from Celine. So amazing how she transforms...and at only 21!

I’m afraid her character in Text for You is going to play into the “kooky Québécoise” stereotype. I doubt it’s the sort of vehicle to showcase any serious dramatic acting. But guess we’ll see.

Yeah, I totally expect the same. Like she’ll be playing a caricature of herself - kinda of like in the Ashes music video.

1995 is my favorite year in Celine's career for all kinds of reasons.

It's icing on the cake that she and Rene made the decision to promote a French album in the United States.

She and Rene were both on fire that year... Rene was at the top of his management game, and Celine was in impeccable vocal form.

They were both so bold in their decision making, career building, and artistry that year.

I don't know what others say....tease me as much as you can...

But I think Celine's career was on a high peak somewhere around 2008-2010. During Taking Chances. In my honest opinion, I think that was the time people really knew that she was a icon. She sold out her World Tour. She had her new residency coming up in Vegas, she was pregnant with her twins around 2010. She went to a hell lot of Oprah's and Ellen's and other interviews. She did a lot of appearance on awards. Was it Dubai or somewhere where she got a lot of crowds? Then she also did 400 years of Québec where 250,000 fans were present, had her moments a lot of times.

After that I would go to Courage Era(2016-now). Her fashion thing started coming. Pepe news, her thin news,Ashes, new album release, death of René, Residency, Courage World Tour), Beauty And The Beast song, her performance at BBMA consecutively for 2 years and winning Icon Award. Am I missing something?

Then 1997-1999

And at last 1993-1995

Me, i think her highest peak was around late 90’s (starting at 1996). I mean, she’s everywhere. Then, she took a break for 2 years then, Vegas.. (lock for 5 years).

”Vegas took that away from me..” - Céline

But i am glad that she did the vegas show. She’s now the queen of vegas. And she really help change vegas.

Starting 2008 is the continuation of what she left in the 90’s.

Me, i think her highest peak was around late 90’s (starting at 1996).

Her popularity / career peak definitely came in 1996 through 1999.

But it was because she laid the groundwork in 1994 (recording D'eux) and 1995 (recording Falling Into You).

There are interviews in 1995 where Celine talks about how 1996 was going to be huge for her. She knew she would be reaping the fruits of her labor and Rene's career game plan / strategy.

1995 took her to new heights in the French speaking world with the monumental success of D'eux.

And then Falling Into You (recorded in '95) took her to new heights in the English speaking world and beyond in 1996.

So 1995 was the year they planned it all out... and it worked beautifully.

Granted, I don't think either of them saw something like My Heart Will Go On coming. That was an added layer that took her career to heights neither of them could've imagined.

I think Celine envisioned resting after the 1995 / '96 game plan.

And then once My Heart Will Go On happened, they had to create an album and a tour to support it. And then they continued riding out the success with another French album, These Are Special Times, and then her All The Way... greatest hits collection before finally taking a break.

Your "peak Celine" can absolutely be whenever you want it to be. :)

I was just expressing my own views / opinions.

I think that around 2008 she didn’t have a big chance internationally to live up to her 90s success. The competition was so strong and the music industry changed so much. Vegas was the best move for her financially and career wise. If she released new albums and toured every year since 2002 people would certainly get tired of her and she would get desperate

Céline is having fun while playing FOMO Remix

Too bad she didn't bring a better camera crew (still photography aside) - that would have been a great opportunity to record bits for a new music video! (every night in my dreams I wish Celine would record/release more music videos)

I'm not sure that it's the full version, but the one I have starts with "Everybody needs a little time away, I heard her say, far away, from each other... Even lovers need a holiday..." before reaching the starting point in this video, so it's a bit longer than this one. Still pretty short, though - not sure if they performed the full song or just the shorter excerpt.

I’m not entirely sure if i heard this in full version before on YouTube or maybe it was Wind Beneath My Wings…

I think it was all David Foster first then Céline with this song..
