She did! I wish she actually recorded the full thing, not just an excerpt. But guess it’s just too racy for her!

(Plus I wonder if she knows what ‘dyspeptic’ means. This ain’t your standard Céline lyric!)

 

This song reminds me so much of high school. A bunch of my friends were jazz singers and they’d always sing this around the hallways and snicker at the lyrics (we were 14, after all!)

“Horizontally speaking he’s at his very best”, and so on…☺️

Didn't they leave it out of the official concert DVD though? But yes, live is best I'm glad she did that in 2013...if she opened the song that way live all the time, it'd be extra special.

Personally, out of all the versions I prefer the CWT auto-tuned one with that hauntingly beautiful underwater montage.

 

Since she’s always in the middle of a costume change during that point of the show, she almost certainly will never sing the intro live for a concert tour.

 

I do agree with the earlier comment someone made about the need for heavy reverb on that mic. If she ever does it again, that would be much better!

Yes I love the CWT one because she does a rare thing for her: harmonises! I honestly wish she would post that clip in its entirety to her Youtube or IG.

Back in A New Day... at the very end. I think they have been doing that since the premier 2003. Céline recorded that "aria" for A New Day.. which also been used in Taking Chances World Tour as an intro for MHWGO.

Me too! I think it's the best version Céline ever did for an aria. I mean, the harmonies and all. It was just simply amazing

The only thing that I don't like is the humming part at the end. For me, she should stick to the original humming. The new one is kinda messy sometimes it's so so messy. It just destroy the emotion of the song.. It's right there then suddenly owwooooOOOoooooOOOOooooOOOOooWAAAhhahha like why?

I think she is really good and was surprised when I first saw what she did , her team contacted me because they saw the trailer I made for sayyesceline and asked me if I could do the exact same thing for her new show which I agreed to do but I'm still waiting for her new videos extracts

 

I still find it a bit weird though because the disintegration of Celine fits with the 'don't let the memories fade away' theme but for that impersonator new show it is a bit surreal to disintegrate her into pieces.
