It also forced ideas of gender onto children that they may not naturally feel. More and more parents are understanding this. Celine certainly does. Black and white are neutral colors. Takes that other bs away. 4 Quote

I stopped following them because 1) awful name, 2) 90% of the comments are religious zealots who accuse Céline of being involved in a Satanic pedophilia ring, and 3) the designers have done very little to dispel these rumours with their occultist symbolism and dark imagery. Apparently they’ve added a little more colour to the collection in the past year, but that’s really “too little, too late”. I’m all for the gender neutral clothing concept on paper, but getting involved with this company was the worst move of Céline’s entire career. Even worse than the botched Courage promo and her random/embarrassing social media content, which have simply kept her under the radar, whereas this has made people hate her and destroy her albums they owned ... And now that I've said my piece, I'll go back to pretending it never happened Edited September 9, 2020 at 04:41 AM by Chantemoi 2 Quote

Tbh, the designers did look like quite dour people, and in the video of them all together, Celine was colorful in contrast but did look like a hostage 2 Quote
ryba Posted September 9, 2020 at 07:46 AM Posted September 9, 2020 at 07:46 AM (edited) This interview felt uncomfortable to watch. I also agree that many people tuned against her because of that. And these clothes really look disturbing. The only good thing is that these little kids don’t understand this whole symbolism crap yet, so they don’t care. woodstock Posted September 9, 2020 at 08:32 AM Posted September 9, 2020 at 08:32 AM Anyone know what they say after? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiYzb13r7jsCéline thanks again Michel Drucker for having her in his TV show "Champs-Élysées" because it allowed her to get famous in France, and they make fun of the fact that before the show Céline had been told that if Drucker hadn't spoke to her after her singing, that would have meant he didn't like her. So she says that all the time she was singing, she kept hoping he would talk to her...and he did so. Drucker says it's hard to have time for everyone or even to have something to talk about when you host a show with many artists, but when it came to Céline, it was impossible not to have a little chat with her to introduce her to french viewers. 2 Quote
ryba Posted September 9, 2020 at 04:10 PM Posted September 9, 2020 at 04:10 PM Guys, isn’t it strikingly obvious that the If Walls Could Talk music video was inspired by this music video? Maybe even made by the same director? Quote

And now that I've said my piece, I'll go back to pretending it never happened I'm also all for gender neutral clothing. And, I agree, they could have added more gender neutral colors into the clothing line. But... Any person who started hating and got greatly offended at Celine associating with this line can just go away as far as I'm concerned. We don't need them to stay Celine fans. Even though I totally agree that the line wasn't perfectly executed by being so black and white and smile-less, Celine's still on the right side of history with this one. So it's not really a blemish on her career. It just wasn't executed as well as it could have been. It's actually wonderful that she took a stance, and made it known that she is a forward thinker. Why would we want such stuffy, ultra conservative people to remain (& represent) Celine fans anyways? Toodle-oo!!! Logical people would be like, "Oh, I see what Celine was going for here. I just wish some of the kids were smiling and there was more color. Anyways, I love her voice!" Cuckoo people would be like, "Oh, she's done it now! She's a satan worshipper. I'm gonna burn her albums and spew hatred about her online because I lead my life from a place of hate and judgement." We're beyond the days of Celine tip toeing around all the time, in order to please everyone and sell record-breaking amounts of albums. I'd rather her stand up for what she believes in. I don't know about y'all, but I'm cool for these cuckoo folks to not be seated next to me at her concerts. & since this is the YouTube topic, here's my favorite commercial that Celine appeared in: Edited September 13, 2020 at 03:13 AM by smw 6 Quote
