Literally! Lol! Encore Un Soirs vocal production is terrible on virtually every song bar A La Plus Haute Branche, half of them sound unfinished and sloppy and the other half sound just plain weird, there’s no blending of layers or background vocals, it’s all just a muddy mess

 

À la plus haute branche is the exception yes. As you said the rest is almost unbelievable for me. I can’t believe someone of her stature did such an album production wise.

For Celine? Yes, it’s a lot. But for most of working singers today? Not so much.

I’d be interested to see how Celine’s streaming numbers compare to other legendary artists who used to sell millions like Celine did. Like Madonna.

 

Celine will never get the streaming numbers of newer acts like Ariana or Gaga, etc but that’s okay because the industry has shifted so much. Gaga and Ariana never sell the amounts of records Celine & Madonna sold! :)

 

Hopefully Celine’s streaming numbers will continue to increase as more and more older people shift over to streaming services. And, of course, as she gains new young fans!

Not sure if anyone noticed, but Because You Loved Me has been doing well on Mother's day and Father's day. Looks like it will start the trend from now on

But we still not see actual audio of recording session yet. They only show us a bunch of recording session footage overlays with official studio version of the song.

The Courage album is a true experience and one of her best ever but Sony doesn’t care... :(

Apparently, Britney’s team is gearing up to release remixes of the (formerly) Japanese exclusive song, “Mood Ring.” Do you think we’ll get a “Soul” remixes EP?!?!

Does anyone know if artists are even promoting new singles on talk shows right now? (I don’t watch anything but The View and they definitely don’t.) I think it would be hard to “virtually” promote a song.

Why not? She said shít on the ANDHC CBS Special, she said “bullshit” in “For Keeps” and she said “F*ck you” to James Corden. She’s classy, but she’s not an angel lol.

Have you listened to all the songs from the “Courage” album? If so, you should know she isn’t against cussing.

I loved when she cussed on the Karaoke Carpool with James Corden. Seemed very natural and made her down to earth.

It's funny how we can count on one or two hands how many times we know she has cussed. :sofunny:

 

At Met Gala 2019 she said "f*ck" with Rupaul

With James Corden's show she said "b*tches"

She's sung "Sh*t" on the Courage album

I think she said "b*tching' when telling us about the story of David Foster using that word in the studio and she got offended bc she didn't know its connotation.

 

I feel like there was one other time she used "ah sh*t" that we have on video, but can't recall.
