She couldn’t sing it live. (Yes, she was sick when the one time she sang it full.) With her new penchant for cutting songs instead of lipping them (other than the big hits) it’s no surprise this song was cut.

Yup, in-studio footage of seven songs from the album is available on CelineDionVEVO + Video from the recording session of Soul was shown't during Céline's appearance in Le Banquier.

 

Unless I am wrong, it sounds like on those videos they show us the footage and have just superimposed the enhanced, produced audio of her singing..exactly as it sounds on the CD

 

I personally don’t care for the recording videos unless we get the true raw vocals and hear the multiple vocal tales. I admit I do love hearing Celine’s opinions on the songs, but it’s really her vocals I want to hear

Same for me too. I understand that for marketing purposes the song needs to sound the same as the recording. But I have no interest in watching what is essentially a snippet of a music video where she’s standing in a recording booth.

she could have at least commented on it. I mean, come on, it’s not like she is working for the FBI and is not allowed to say a single word because its some sensitive information. It’s only a freaking song.

 

If I was standing there I would just say „Celine, release your 2016 and 2017 summer tours. Your fans can’t live without them, so just have a heart, we’re begging you“ (pun intended). Why being shy and modest and just say stuff like „that’s November, Wait for it“. They should ask her to tell them why they keep everything

Yeah! I think i’ll be speechless if i see her that close and just take pictures. But if I’m brave I’ll be asking the same thing about when they will release the summer tours 2016-2017, that it would be a waste not to released it, i think it has one of the best setlist she did for a tour (2010s).

Yes, I think she was caught totally off guard. Perhaps it took her a second to even remember that she recorded that song (since she recorded a lot more than went on the album)....and more than that, the actually title of the song could be different.

Then take the time to create a new arrangement which allows her to sing it live. Jesus. Singers of lesser caliber than she can figure this crap out better than she seems to be able to do. Oh.
