Whenever you think it took ages for Courage to be released after FOMO was sang in concert (and released as a single...)

 

Just remember that she sang HAH at the Junos in MARCH 1989... and Unison came out in April 1990 :P

If you search on Twitter “Celine’s face” it should come up, there is a video with almost 10 million views of her being sung to while she’s in her car.

 

I’m not sure how to embed tweets, but the internet thought it was hilarious how she kept a straight face while this unknown girl was singing her heart out to “I surrender”

I wonder what they're waiting for to release 'Lying Down' music video... It's one of her top views in YouTube for this new album. It's better if there's a video. It will gain more views. Also, more people are staying at home. More views :)

Maybe the video didn't turn out good enough and they prefer to keep it "confined", like most of us! :o

IT is so sad to realize the only video where they seemed To put budget and effort in a concept where she is so proud saying she never had a concept like that is simply never going To see the light of the day.

That should be the case, right? But I saw a report on Rolling Stones saying that the streams actually dropped considerably since the quarantine.

Are you sure? It was her introduction to the Canadian English market, so I wonder why she would have lipped (and at The Junos on top of it?)... :o

Legend has it Rene broke up with her before this, or said something to create distance.., and Céline went on stage super emotional.

 

He apparently did it on purpose to make Céline really feel the song and have a great debut?

Hope that's incorrect as if it's true I find it quite nasty to do such a thing. I get wanting to create emotion but one shouldn't play with someone's feelings just to create a good show/performance.

I think someone on here read an article which said that they recorded a lip sync track for that “Have a Heart” performance.
The best is yet to come...

Actually, i like the pre recorded track of ‘Have a Heart’ because of the tone of her voice here. I don’t know if it’s all lipped or half live.

 

I think it’s half live because the sound of her voice changes at the climax. It sounded obvious

Back then it was not easy to sing live on TV. They needed to have specific equipments and not every show had it. I don't know if it was the case in this performance, but it may have been.

Yes but not on the Junos. That's the Canadian music awards show and it's not a good way to be discovered... She never lipped on that show except that one time (if true).

So I have been listening to a lot of music, some Celine some others lately. The times we live in are crazy, but I listened to Courage tonight for the first time in a little while and I’m falling in love all over again :wub2: it really is a perfect album in so many ways!

So I have been listening to a lot of music, some Celine some others lately. The times we live in are crazy, but I listened to Courage tonight for the first time in a little while and I'm falling in love all over again :wub2: it really is a perfect album in so many ways!

 

It really is SO good.

 

Hopefully Celine's team will continue to find new ways in order to share this album. :) There's a lot of easy ways to keep promoting it via her social media.

I can’t stop listening to it. (At least tracks 1-13 and 16 which is all I’ve allowed myself so far. I’ll make the rest into an EP for Summer.) I haven’t loved a Celine album this much since ANDHC. Out of those 14 tracks, the only one I don’t like is Baby and I don’t necessarily have to skip it or anything; it just doesn’t do anything for me. Other than that, I absolutely adore every single song. I seriously listen to it at least 5 times a week.
