I'm still waiting to know what she thinks of this album? Other than courage.... what has she said?

What does Celine really think about this album, because I have no idea

She LOVES it and is so proud of it. That is all. Edited by DionFanAlways
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I think that this story would be totally different if Céline was a songwriter.

When I see songwriters, I feel love for every song ... They want them all to be heard, none to be hidden. Songs are like child for them.

They always find a way, a little place to sing at least 80% of the songs in their albums.

And the most important thing, a songwriter takes a big part of the royalties each time their song is performed.

I hope she shows a little more love for the songs in Courage, It is a wonderful effort that should not be wasted.

I need someone to loves m like Celine loved René... And just like she sang in LTAL track # 16, I ask for that exact same thing

In the past, Celine was always aware to thank writers who would send her songs. Without their songs, there would be no Celine. But I wonder how, with each successive album being less and less successful, who would want to send her songs? If, at a minimum, her songs are not released as singles and on top of it, she doesn’t bother signing them on a tour that bears the album’s title, which writer would waste an opportunity?

I attended her concert in Montreal and for the first time in all the times I have seen her, I was bored. Even my partner thought the concert was lame. He even noticed the lipping on IACBTMN and TPOL.

Standout moment was the Prayer which was divine. And I hated the new version on PQTME. One of her biggest hits that no one could sing to because she changed it up so much...

Such a waste because there are 5 exceptional songs on Courage.

I believe you when you say you got bored, because I can see her bored, monotonous. Forcedly triyng to be funny and to give her best.

I have not seen her enjoying her work in years, she needs to rest, need time to cry her mother, and then rest again.

She has been working so hard that, suddenly, it does not look enjoyable anymore.

IMHO.

If you think she looked bored on this tour, you obviously didn’t see her in the last few weeks of her residency... THAT was a disappointment. The only songs I truly enjoyed were “You’re the Voice” & PQTME (my first time hearing it live). Even “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was boring.

On the contrary, this tour has been mostly good. I attended the Chicago show —she was on FIRE— and I didn’t think she’d top that. But the clips I saw from Atlantic City the other night have proven me wrong. Her voice is even better, and her movements on stage are much more fluid. And I hate to say it, but the medley was really good (if not because it was 100% live and full of new vocal improvisations). One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen from her —vocally— especially on this tour.

Stars, they’re just like us. They even pop over to Canton for a quick tan before work.

Mega pop star Celine Dion walked into Canton’s Harbor Lights Tanning Studio Monday afternoon, hours before her concert at Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena. She’s performing there as part of her “Courage” world tour.

Salon owner Kalliopi Karamichalis said she had no advance warning that the French Canadian singer would be visiting the O’Donnell Street salon before her security detail entered the facility around 1 p.m. Dion followed, dressed in a chic beige trench and dark sunglasses.

There was no mistaking it was the 51-year-old “My Heart Will Go On” singer.

”She’s freaking gorgeous. She’s got a glow about her like no other," Karamichalis said. A starstruck Karamichalis, barely able to utter a word, did manage to ask for a picture. “I was shaking and crying and she grabbed me and hugged me,” she said.

Karamichalis declined to say whether Dion went for a spray tan or whether she flouted dermatologists’ warnings and just went with the regular tanning bed. But look, we’re not here to judge her life choices.

Another regular customer who was at the salon during Dion’s visit tried to play it cool by fiddling with her phone, the salon owner said.

Dion’s security detail left a “nice tip," but Karamichalis declined to say how much.

Dion isn’t the first celeb to grace the Canton tanning salon — the cast of Bravo’s “Below Deck” has been in, as has a drummer for a band that Karamichalis couldn’t remember. But she is certainly the biggest.

So now we’re talking about this because there’s nothing left to talk about Courage album. Lol.

'Cause I got nothing left

I got nothing left

I got nothing left

I gave you my best

And you treated it worthless

So I got nothing left

I took out the photo from the quote to make the thread/scrolling manageable :P But it's nice to see some photos of Celine out and about on normal errands....something we rarely ever see. Usually we might catch a glimpse of her shopping in a major city or walking from her car into a hotel.

So, this is neat!

Is it just me or is there really a strong resemblance between “Lovers Never Die” and “There Comes a Time”?

I mean, the songs even begin the exact same way!

I always forget that song by Celine, and whenever I see “There Comes A Time” on this forum my mind goes straight to “We Are The World” in which Céline does the climax.

Because that song’s lyrics start off with “There Comes A Time...”

Can I just say I love this album! I put a different Album on in my car last week for a change and soon put it back! Still craving it!

The new song Wicked Game is also a brilliant addition.

I would love to have "Say Yes" with a simple, yet beautiful, guitar arrangement, something in the style of "Stand By Your Side", instead of these modern electronic arrangements. I think they destroy this great song. I could totally see her singing it the way she did PQTME in 2017, only with a guitar.

This is one of the reasons why I love “The Chase” so much.

Wow! I used to have the exact same problem. This was until I forced myself to remember Céline’s song (and grown to love it in the process).
