I think i know why there’s no cover songs in this album... remember “Water And A Flame” issue back in 2013 of her Loved Me Back To Life album?

I just rewatched Carpool Karaoke and realized that right before IDAN, she sang the opening "Yoooouu weeerrre" from "I Will Be Stronger."

Guys, look at the segment of Lying Down from Caprool Karaoke! The final album version is different! The background vocals on the Carpool version are different!!!! There was another video of Céline in one of these museums or galleries (in Europe or NYC I think)...looking to the right as a camera roll walked behind her as she sang a few lines....I forget the words to the song but I’m curious if she was singing courage tracks.

 

Anyone know what I’m referring to? She was dressed very nicely and looking off to through windows I think..

I really hope they have some promo for the album planned in 2020...it would be a bit strange to just release the vinyl edition on February 7 for no reason. Otherwise, it could of just been released the same time as the physical CD copy. Granted, there is not much time to do stuff between shows. But a talk show here or there could at least keep her in mind. I'd love to see her perform a new single on a show like "the Voice" or American Idol. A Grammy show appearance would also be great.

 

Finally, when she's in LA to do those shows she really should do a talk show or two.

Don’t put your hope too high. Even if she performs, the possibility of she sings Because You Loved Me/My Heart Will Go On is way bigger than any songs from Courage. Lol.

What remains is the hope for another French album. The music is just so much better.

I agree.. They have gold in their hands with many hitpotential songs but they put it in a cellar..

The promotion is not what i expect from her. The videoclip of Courage looks like a college project..almost no new material in the tour..

I agree with ryba. I can understand that nowadays, money is in live concerts and not in albums but c'mon... This is her first English album in six years and she barely talks about it anymore. Not just that she doesn't sing most of its songs, but she doesn't even talk about it.

 

I'm afraid Lying Down is our last hope. For some reason, they keep us waiting for a music video that hey shot four months ago already! Hopefully they have something big planned for that video release (when I say "something big", I mean bringing the song back to the tour setlist and maybe some live performances on TV).

 

I understand that they probably had some more promo appearances for the release week, back in November, but somethings were cancelled due to Celine's re-scheduled shows in Montreal for that very week.

 

Most of us here are Drama Queens, myself included, but the way the Courage album is being treated by Sony Music, Celine herself and her team is hard to believe...

Well we kind of got something like that with the A to Z piece earlier this year but yes it would be nice.

The problem is they don’t ask her that stuff, instead they focus on how René is still with her or if she is dating ect ect... Besides she probably wouldn’t answer much anyways, lol.

I’m totally cool with this new-era Céline that’s like “No more intense promo—sorry-not-sorry”, but for the love of god, there’s NO EXCUSE for them not throwing together a 20 minute “making-of” video like they did for all her big albums!!!

 

She’s always claiming to be an open book, but this entire release feels more closed than anything she’s ever done before... like it’s been shrouded in secrecy the whole time. “Shhhh! Can’t talk - can’t ruin the surprise!!” And then nothing!
