Everytime I listen to 'The Lover That I Lost' all words 'those' in "Oh, all those nights, the lows and highs" sounds strange as if there is a scratch in de cd or something. In don't know how to explain but it's annoying

 

Same for me, and I even don't understand why they do this, it 's à nightmare for my ears. What's wrong with them.

I so happy with this record. Yes, pronounciation sucks, yes her voice has changed. After a week I’m over it. I’m enjoying this English album like no other in a long while.

 

With a few changes/edits replacing FOMO and some other filler tracks on the standard edition with some of the bonus tracks, it would have been spectacularly cohesive.

 

Few songs I don’t care for after 1 week of repetitive listens:

 

Fomo : Grew on me but does not belong on this record

Lovers never Die : meh

Say yes : skip

How did you get here: skip

 

And don’t kill me for this but Lying Down. Never really did anything for me. Especially the angry partner telling her ex off...Not on brand for this record.

 

Now Celine, for the upteenth time, have the Courage to integrate more of these new songs in your shows!!!

I think that there's something wrong with my ear when i listen to Perfect Goodbye. Turns out that my ear works just perfectly. Cause parts of the lyrics are:

After midnight promise we'll never look back

This s*** is perfect it, each second worth it

I feel the same as you. This word doesn't fit with the song. it's a romantic song and i don't see why this word is in it.

I love it! It gives the song power some kind of cathartic relief, with "Thing" it is just restraint of feelings trying to boost out

I don't expect all review will praise the album, but sometimes I wonder if some reviewer really takes time to sit and listen to the album.

I also wonder why we need some bitter people who probably dont have a single musical bone in their body to listen to an album and validate whether or not it's good.

It would've been a perfect album if it wasn't for that robotic voice on every song.

Help! I need an intervention! This album is TOO amazing for words and I CAN'T STOP LISTENING! Every single track from 1-20 gives me chills and puts tears in my eyes. Too hard to even pick favorites. I'm so moved and speechless over the entire thing.

 

For 25 years without hesitation my answer to the question "What is your favorite Celine Dion album?" has always been TCOML - but gosh...Courage may have taken my number one spot. Or perhaps tied for first because clearly they are two incredibly different albums and both now have special places in my heart.

 

This will probably be the first holiday season that I don't play These Are Special Times at all - I don't think I have it in me to switch to a different album at this point. Pretty sure I can listen to Courage for months on end without getting tired of it.
