Guys, there are so many great songs on this album, all I want to do is listen listen listen. I love Celine, I love the Dionnaissance and I think I need a sedative.

This morning, before going to work, I tried to buy it but was not yet available in store. Yes, because I really go to a Fnac store...

Now, after confirming on the website that the album is available at all Fnac stores in Portugal, there I go again.

I haven't heard the album yet. Just a few previews.

I managed to resist. Now will be the discovery!!!

They were just at the CMA awards so the country fans are aware of their new album. Don't count them out just yet.

Yeah! Célin can count on the power of tour bundles, whereas Frozen doesn't have that and people are not completely aware of the movie yet.

Flying on my own.... i like it , don>'t care if we heard this of thing with other artist, first time with Celine....

 

Lovers never die.......Amy Winehouse is in the house,with a touch of musical like her voice

 

Falling in love again...... so sweet and calm. nice melody Celine could have been more calm But nice song

 

Lying down....... love it , Nice melody too...Celine is perfect on it. inspiring.

 

Courage............10/10

 

Imperfections would listen to that song over and over , the tone is perfect .

 

Nothing boring until now , 6 songs out of 6 .. good beginning.

 

Change my mind.........i hear a touch of american first nations the way she sings some parts, The chorus is vey Pink , should have kept the first nations approach. Lots of feelings.

 

Say Yes ........ love the clear voice, and the muffled instruments. The voice is front and center. reminds of Skies of L.A. very good . My favorite NEW one until now.

 

Nobody's watching.....nice flow, natural, makes you move

 

The chase......could play in a Hallmark love story. Don't like that one as much. A bit boring , the arrangements are good, i,ll give it that. I was hoping for the next one.

 

For the lover that i lost.......Love it. nothing is forced. I love a calm Celine

 

Baby.......Love the beat, love the way she sings it . Not too much .

 

I will be stronger..... bizarre song , stanged mix. Don't have an opinion .

 

How did you get here....You know right away what you are dealing with... Would take an album like it one day . Love the ending.

 

Look at us now...... goes with the flow... love the low voice. very soothing.

 

Perfect goodbye . .... ah perfect song . Once upon time with the word sh.... Lana Del Rey nostalgia. My favorite of the album so far, nice ending to the regular sh.t

 

I'll listen to the rest later , will put some songs on repeat.

I finally listened to the album today! I avoided the single except for watching the Imperfections video once, and the clips that were played during the CBS interview with Gayle King.

 

I am loving this album so much. I'm still processing. I've been listening at work literally all day so far!

I just picked up my physical copy in target!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with this album!! From the vocals to the production, “this shít is perfect!”

 

Flying On My Own: I’ve loved it from the start. It’s a fun song. Not so serious and perfect to just dance to without a care.

 

Lovers Never Die: I can hear the “Bond” element from the very beginning piano chords. I love the attitude that Celine gives to this song. The lyrics are pretty cool. This will end up in my drag repertoire for sure.

 

Falling In Love Again: I can 100% relate to this song. I found the love of my life only 2 weeks after me and my ex split for good. I truly couldn’t believe that this man came into my life and made me realize that the love I have for him is not even comparable to what my prior relationship was. This song is top notch.

 

Lying Down: This song is a fantastic blend of classic Celine and a modern ballad. I think this is a song that could win over fans old and new.

 

Courage: Breathtaking. Definitely pulls at the heartstrings. Vulnerable and strong. Celine delivers every ounce of herself on this one.

 

Imperfections: I was so excited to find out that Lauv was one of the writers on this song. I adore him and his music. I’ve been wanting Celine to record a song with this sound for a long time. Great song, positive message.

 

Change My Mind: This is SCREAMING to be a single. It probably won’t happen though. I actually repeat this song every time I listen to it before moving onto the next track. That climax is EVERYTHING.

 

Say Yes: I live for when Celine dials back her vocals for a simple, soothing, understated ballad. This song is put into the wheelhouse of “I Remember LA”, “In His Touch”, and “Didn’t Know Love.” The lyrics are very touching and the way Celine sings this song allows the words to really shine.

 

Nobody’s Watching: I love the comparisons to “Make You Happy.” I can totally hear it! The funny thing is that instead of singing about making someone else happy, she singing about making herself happy. Fun song, and it does make me dance like nobody’s watching.

 

The Chase: Love the cinematic feel of this song. Great build up. Out of all of the songs on this album, this one is the most organic when it comes to production. I appreciate that.

 

For The Lover That I Lost: It’s a nice song, but it’s not my favorite on the album.

 

Baby: Give me all the Sia! Love this song. I think it should trade spots with “Heart Of Glass” on the track list though.

 

I Will Be Stronger: This seems to be a let down for so many of you guys. I think it’s wonderful! Definitely an anthem of perseverance. The vocal is lovely here as well.

 

How Did You Get Here: Just WOW. The retro vibe of this song is amazing. I love that Motown sound. The Stereotypes tend to deliver amazing production and they didn’t hold back this time either.

 

Look At Us Now: Most definitely my favorite song on the album. I had a feeling this was going to be a gem from the one line Celine sang on Carpool Karaoke. I love everything about it!

 

Perfect Goodbye: Fabulous closer for the standard edition. It’s a super modern track. It actually reminds me of an Ariana song. Surprisingly not at all cringeworthy, even with the inclusion of the word “shít.” It comes off very natural from Celine.

 

 

 

Deluxe Tracks-

 

Best Of All: This is a nice song, but I’m glad it’s a bonus and not part of the the standard edition.

 

Heart Of Glass: What a fantastic track! Celine sounds great, the production is perfect. Very catchy.

 

Boundaries: This one is still growing on me. I don’t have much to say about it.

 

The Hard Way: JUST WOW. Best vocals on the album. That chorus has to be the most difficult of any song in her career. I could listen to her belt this one all day long!!

Overall, her most coherent English release ever. Her most relatable, non cheesy lyrics. I always felt that Celine believed every word she sang about love. There really is nobody who can interpret a song better than she can. This time it’s different though. She can actually relate to most of these songs at this point in her life, and this fact makes “Courage” her most honest album ever. I’m very pleased with this release.
