I would have loved for her to lip the song and have a viral moment...shame the track didn’t work..somebody messed up 😒

There wasn't supposed to be a track. It's karaoke... not a performance. It doesn't matter how she sang it......

No playback as the music was from a karaoke machine. Twas a karaoke night if im not mistaken. But, yeah,it'd been nice if she sang to a playback instead.

This performance was a disaster. :rip:

Looks like she was expecting the lipped tracked. You can see that she couldn't do the belts.

This was not a performance this was her having fun with some fans... really now.

I'll be nervous/excited to see her performances on jimmy kimmel & Andy cohen etc... Might boost the album too as Andy Cohen is a new stop for her.

I logged in today just to say a few words about the new album before I will go offline again, coz I am fed up with the constant attacks to me in the past.

 

So, after listening to the deluxe album+Soul for the first time (yes, I haven't listened to FOMO or Courage the whole time, I watched the VCs on mute,etc.) I have to say that it is an AMAZING album! Modern, catchy, with deep lyrics! Well done Miss Dion. LD, Boundaries, Soul and Look at us now are my favourite so far! Happy Courage Day and see you again when Celine releases the next album (I hope soon). Farewell!

Happy release day everyone! it's past midnight here so I'm officially free to listen to the album yay!

 

I won't lie I am ticked off I don't have any sort of shipping confirmation yet on my physical copy from Ticketmaster. This has to be the first time ever my order hasn't shipped prior to the release date but ok...Anyways I did download the digital version too just incase.

Is it kimmel or fallon? Anyway, i think she will either perform Courage or Lovers Never Die. But, for me, LND would be the better choice. Hello, haters! 🤭✌✌✌

How can I listen to Soul? So far, my favorites are Change My Mind and The Hard Way. Quite excited to listen to Soul!

Actually just about all four of the regular bonus tracks are better than some of the regular edition songs... “Boundaries”, “Heart Of Glass”, and “The Hard Way” all three deserve a spot on the regular edition of the album before, “Lovers Never Die” and others... having said that all the songs are great I just think 3 of the best of the best ended up on the Deluxe version.

YES! The Deluxe version songs really make the album great!

lol I actually thought it was kimmel but I checked and was wrong. It's Fallon. She was on kimmel earlier this year so my mind went straight to him. Although she might end up going on with Kimmel another night too. We could also dream for boundaries to be sung instead! Now that would be something!

Another thing we should also be noting is that lady antebellum got a huge boost from the country award show recently. All the country albums and songs got big boosts from the show. So that uptick will fade. Hopefully with a performance tomorrow night and again Monday, that will bring her up while they slowly trail down?

You know, I love this album!!

 

However, thinking and looking back to “Taking Chances” and “Loved Me Back To Life”, is when Celine’s voice started the path of this lower bluesy tone that she now made her own... and I didn’t like it for a number of reasons. First of all I wasn’t used to it, I wanted pure and powerful what we all know her for. Secondly, with both those albums seemed years too late for their time if that makes sense? She claimed to “take chances” with that album and she didn’t.

With LMBTL, they tried it again with the songs LMBTL and SLS and then they mixed it with lullabies and didn’t take any direction.... all combined with the “bedroom voice” and I just loathed the final products of both those albums. The “bedroom voice” didn’t sound good, it was trying to hard to sound like Adele or Sia.

 

Here we are now in the era of Courage, her vocals are a bit different, this is the mature sound of Celine, but STILL Celine and still equally beautiful but in a different way and arguably more convincing and sentimental than ever! They finally mixed that with modern songs, great songwriters, and production and at a time where Celine came off a crazy rollercoaster of a 3 years and she interrupts these songs in a way nobody else would ever come close, she makes us feel as if she wrote them.

 

I have to say, I’m really, really digging the new path and direction she’s taken, this a so beautifully done and almost like a evolution in her career... I hope she continues to grow as an artist!! Now this needs to be translated to the live shows!

I just listened to Lovers never die with headphone. I don't think the song is my favorite of the album BUT her vocals are amazing. I believe it could attract general public to the album. I must say that I am surprised overall by the quality of her vocals. And the album is very very pleasing and doesn't feel dated - something we were really scared of, as she took her time. The only criticism would be... her pronunciation. And that's something to blame on her and her producers. But for the rest, I think it's a great great great album!! Love it!

I love her clothes and her makeup so much these days ,I have to admit Pepe is doing a great job ,but I think the wig is to obvious like there’s something odd about it

FINALLY!! I can talk about the album to you all! I was waiting in anticipation to what you all think I’m so SO pleased you all love it! Masterpiece!

 

This morning I ran downstairs and shouted “Alexa play Celine Dions new album” hahah! I haven’t heard the four bonus tracks yet so I’m excited to hear those!

 

COME ON UK FANS! Stream the s**t out of this album!

 

Spotify: you only need to play 30 seconds of a song for it to count as a stream! I’m going to have it on a continuous loop lol!

Are you sure about that 30 seconds thing? Because it happens a lot when I want to switch songs in the middle as i'm too impatient to hear another one XD
