I am curious what he actually did for this tune except maybe the few electric seconds starting at 1:36....

 

I do feel a bit like there might be a bit too much Sia in her tracks as a backing vocal other than Lying Down which was probably toned down by David Guetta, lol.

It's a ballad with a kind of slow burning bass beat but the vocal style in both songs is similar.

I can’t really call it a ballad. I can’t get enough of it!

on release date that is what they stated on the checkout page and they haven't charged my bank account yet, i checked today lol

Yeah, I don't know, I just want them all. Maybe I could have skipped the standard physical version, but when I ordered that I didn't know the Japanese version would get a bonus track. Anyway, I'm happy to support Celine, and I love collecting music that I love, so it's really no complaints from me!

 

Even though iTunes is where I primarily listen to my music, I plan to use Spotify to stream this album nonstop for weeks. Just doing my part.

 

I remember pre-ordering the Japanese version of Taking Chances, and I was so excited about finally holding it in my hands and seeing those bonus track being on there! It's just so special to receive a new Celine album.

 

I initially pre-ordered the deluxe edition from Amazon UK but because I have lots of CDs and little storage space, I decided to just go for the most complete edition which seems to be the Japanese edition at the moment. I might go to my local store though on the 15th and get the standard version to have something to look at until my Japanese edition arrives

 

The Japanese edition of Taking Chances was amazing - far superior to our European pressings, the two bonus tracks, the envelope that protected the CD from scratches - and did I mention those two bonus tracks that are worth every penny?

“The Best Of All” reminds me of one of those songs in a old romantic comedy, that they play during a scene of a movie where they show two lovers both doing their own thing while thinking of each other lol.... it has a old feel to it tho, not a bad thing tho, not like before like when she released dated songs but rather a timeless feel.

I think they are preparing for the CD release, with interviews, show appearances, awards, they will surprise us.

I think she'll be Billboard or Rolling Stone cover, I can dream.

AMA is coming, it would be a good Celine to sing there.

We must have the same taste. These are my top 5 and adding in at top 6 is lover that I lost and 7 change my mind - But honestly there isn’t a song that I “hate”, just some that aren’t as liked as others ya know haha. But my top songs change every day. Lol

Actually, I may be wrong as Céline was singing “Nobody’s Watching” way earlier in 2017... However, I still don’t think this picture is from then. To me it looks like it was taken in late 2018.

I don’t know how “Heart Of Glass” was not included in the standard version of the album. In my opinion this song should have had a high chance of being the first single off of the album. I have to say that I was worried about the songs written by Sia, after LMBTL and even “Lying Down”; but “Heart of Glass” is a gem and is it just me or does it kinda remind anyone of “Reveal” a bit? I Agree except I would keep “Look At Us Now” on the standard edition and add “Lovers Never Die” to the Deluxe album ( IMO the weakest song)
